Suddenly turn bearish sentiment

Now you must be relief that your counters are holding up well
*
my estimate was the KLCI was going to be volatile throughout May till Dec 09, i didnt expect July 09 for the KLCI to rally... caught me totally by suprise.

If there is to be a significant correction to the KLCI than i will be in a position of advantage... due to the fact my counters hardly move or stay where they are, of course low ABP also helps.

... lets see whether may gamble pays off..

Defensive line up
Axreit
TM
Bjtoto..

Portfolio, Paper Gain 3.0%, this morning was 4.0%

lets see what tricks KLCI gonna pull out this time.

hey aurora...another question sry...fast one smile.gif if i were to sell my kps today..would i have been entitled to the dividend?

5843 KPS Final Dividend 4% Ex date 29/07/2009
*
yes.

----

Example
If EX Date was 29/7/09 and you sell before the Ex date say 28/7/2009 - not entitled

If Ex Date was 29/7/09 and u buy, u will be entitled to dividend

If Ex Date was 29/7/09 and u buy, and than Sell... i think answer is "Maybe" ---> need to do some reading on this.

You mean too much money in the system plus too many unemployment

Both are equally good in US ?
*
Well can't bite both ends of the pie at the same time, can you?

there so many issues yet to be ironed out..

but pumping the system full of money will only get the market excited for a while, what if the stimulus money runs out, go bak to the ppl and rob them of more monies?

i think its false expectations of a "recovery", when in fact it all came from printed monies.

i think we all know fairly well what happened duing the great depression... "in the sense everyone was making money, expectation was high, and the market seems like it would never crash" - hence the term false expectations.

When Banks are tightening credit, the destruction of the only other source of raising capital i.e. StockMarket would ultimately be armegeddon.

The situation now is more like the devil and the deep blue sea.

personally i think China is doing it wrong.

its a painful recovery, ppl may have to write in a couple of million times before they get a job... but one thing is for sure, a crash can happen overnight but a cure will take years.

There's 25% less tax right? I thought the net dividend would be 90 cents?  hmm.gif
*
yes thats right, normally when investors buy things the normally see the 1.25 rather than the 90c ... i.e. me sweat.gif

a prudent person would take 90c rather than 1.25 total would be around 3.56...

than again u can claim the tax, for rebates.
