QUOTE(gerald26 @ Jan 27 2005, 10:58 AM) I did lesten to R501 not mkII, how come the sate sound seems so mix up...not clear...in techno music....the woofer sound quite loose, and worse is the port hole got distortion noice when its in heavy bass music.... Hmmm... a lof of factors matter for listening:But it sound quite nice when they playing the demo game cd, the shooting, glass breaking sound....single sound is good if quite sound together then And worse, only one edifier seller in kuching...sell the r501 for rm429, retail at rm489... - environment. - speaker placement for sub and satellites. - speaker unit settings (maybe the bass, surround, centre volume not set correctly or the volume set too loud or too low) - sound source is crappy. (ie: crappy sound card, poor wiring, sound card settings not adjusted properly, cd player may be faulty, etc) - sound material is of poor quality (ie: low bitrate, poor recording quality, etc) Best is, when u are on ur trip to Peninsular Malaysia, do drop by the Edifier Showroom in Lowyat Plaza 4th Floor for a listening experience that would be much better than what you have there. QUOTE(khaidani @ Jan 31 2005, 03:01 PM) i wonder why edifier showroom cannot sell cheaper than dealer like compuzone?? u're the real supplier rite? Because the showroom is meant to demo and show you the products. And also as a service centre. The supplier distributes to the dealers. And the dealers sell to the end users. |

the s2000v is actually darn powerful.
maybe will get it to replace the 1900TII that i'm using now. the power i can feel from it's bass is almost double of the 1900TII. and also coz my table have no space to put any subwoofer on the floor. lol. This post has been edited by shockk: Mar 15 2005, 10:35 PM |

QUOTE(magpies14 @ Mar 16 2005, 11:44 AM) Actually...i owned a R1900TIII....quick nice...then I send it to Octave-Electronics near Amcorp Mall to upgrade some of the caps..inside...additional RM125 upgrade .. lol. yup. because the drivers for the 1900 series is had really great potential.Boy..I'm just loving it....more sweeter..and vocal is more resound.... upgrade is worth the investment.... the only thing limiting is the amp inside. now for the 1900TII i'm using, i use external amplification by tweaking my sound source's bass and treble by a high margin, and the drivers of the 1900TII suprisingly can take the heat and reproduce the sound very well without any distortion whatsoever. thus, the sound now i'm listening is totally unlike any normal 1900TII. i'm shocked, really. it's like it has new life. but i tried on my S4.1 as a comparison, and there was distortion because probably the amp inside the S4.1 is already powerful and good enough to power up the S4.1's drivers. QUOTE(Xeon7222 @ Sep 14 2005, 05:05 PM) http://www.inter-asia.com.my/ Wow. LOL. yeah. the m3300's clarity is just superb. the neodynium drivers on it really do make a difference. my roommate is using m3300. solid bass n clarity in 1. btw, 1 of my housemate n i r using edifier s4.1. damn nice, very very sattisfy. its really where the great sound come from -- Edifier! For RM60 more than the e3100, the m3300 sounds better. this can be tested in the Edifier Showroom Low Yat Plaza 4th Floor. QUOTE(andystanza @ Sep 15 2005, 12:08 AM) Where are u located? If in KL, you can come to the showroom first for a demo, then head on to our dealers (also located in Low Yat Plaza) perhaps for a cheaper price after bargaining. |

QUOTE(ikan_semilang @ Sep 19 2005, 10:58 AM) Yesterday i'm just look M3300 and M2300. The sound more clear and following by powered subwoofer.May i know what the different this 2 model and why the satellite speaker M3300 grey colour? No black like M2300? And if i want to buy at Edifier Showroom, with who must i see? (want to ask some discount because other shop selling M3300 RM229 The Edifier Showroom only sells at retail prices which is RM239 for the M3300. Because our main purpose is to demo to potential buyers. The main difference is the lack of tweeters on the M2300. But with a price difference of RM30 with the M3300, the M3300 is usually recommended. The M3300 satellites do look black from the front. only the back is greyish colour. Well, Edifier Showroom's open from 11am to 7pm. Monday to Saturday. Come and see me. |

QUOTE(evilnickwong @ Sep 29 2005, 10:15 PM) Is the S2000 gonna be brought in officially anytime? The S2000 is kind of available via special order.Btw, I'm abit curious, is the Watts RMS rating purely an indication of how loud the speakers can go before distortion sets in? Does it matter if the R501MKII has only 8W satellites if I'm using it in a small room? What if I move it to a large room? It's hard to answer a question like that. Because i've seen some low-RMS speakers that can perform really well in big rooms and some high-RMS speakers that distort when set to loud volume. Perhaps different driver and amplifier designs all contribute as well here. You can test the R501MKII at the Edifier Showroom, though. |

QUOTE(evilnickwong @ Oct 4 2005, 04:08 PM) nicvoo: E3100 will be better in terms of clarity? I thought the R1900TIII is far ahead of the E3100 in most aspects.. it is better when u compare the prices as well. the 1900tiii is much more powerful than the e3100. and IMHO, gives a more natural sound compared to the e3100. the e3100 gives the best clarity among any speaker in the market for under rm200. above that rm200 limit, things will be different. |

try to bring your own audio CD to test on the 1900TIII at the Edifier Showroom itself.
that's the best. and see if u can be satisfied with it. |
