Does anybody hav this problem when u set the alarm at 6.30 then it only ring at 6.32 or 6.35. It doesn't ring at the time u set but ring later.

My 5800 having this problem recently. Even when ring later snooze it doesn't ring 10 mins(set mine at 10 mins) later but around 12 -15 mins later.

hmm...the timing seem kinda consistent...
any chance u chose an alarm tone tat is in such a way tat there's oni sound after 2mins? hehe

How to update to Map 3.0?

I just encountered this scenario, 6:30AM alarm but it started at 6:34AM. I set it to 6:38AM instead, it seems to be accurate though. Don't know what's wrong with it .

I use the default alarm tone

So it is not just mine. This morning I set at 6.28 snooze 7mins. It rang at 6.28 but snooze around 6.41. Earlier dont hav this problem. Only came after I upgrade to v30

time not accurate anymore...so mean that this v30 still got many problems la...luckily its late oni 2-3 minutes...if 1/2 an hour??sure everyday u will late to school...sorry,office...

those who wants nokia map 3.0..

click the Download on the left and soon after some selection, u will be prompt to a download package of around 19mb. download it, install it. after that have ur 5800 on pc suite mode and update ur 5800 via the newly installed application, an additional of 5mb++ will be downloaded to your 5800.

to add maps, select the map loader below the Download.


for those who have problem with memory card/corrupted stuff/ bla bla bla

take out ur memory card and use windows to do a full scandisk. 80% will have problems with file structure. (it happens to me)
after u scan it, delete or recover the bad file fragments if u need to and pop it back to 5800, 80% again, ur phone will be even more responsive and free from trouble..

if problem still persist, format ur memory card and recopy/reinstall everything back from scratch.

if problem still persist after that, hardreset it.

I don't think this problem came with v30, before this also occur I think. When I googled around there are people who complained about the inaccurate alarm.

The time is correct, just that the alarm rings at a later time instead of the time you have set. Probably some firmware issue.

Does the garmin works really slow in 5800?
