just updated the firmware...hmm... this update seem to make things speed up...
now i can scroll my contact and song list without touching the petite scrollbar anymore... great response....
the scrolling on the app menu work great too...
now no need kenetic scroll also good enough lioa....

also notice the buttons seems to come with lighter color especially on the home contact and dailer button...

one thing funny though... it reset my clock to 8pm 01/01/2009....

got so long wan meh... last time i asked the shop dude only told me its 3mth warranty onli....
for classic phone with touchpad... can go for ap set lar since classic phone onli got minor prob like spekear or keypad problem which can be fixed at minimal cost around 20-50bucks..

but for smartphone with camera+touch panel.. better go for ori... cost of fixing tat two is more that 200 lioa...

agree... that comparison is one way in mind and also compared with older version of iphone...
iphone 3gs already have some of the features like mms, cut-n-paste, video recording...
multitasking also can be done in iphone with some moddings and the iphone have a faster processor too..
iphone is more appealing to those trendy ppl tat like to be cool whereby tube is more to tech savvy ppl whom like features packed phone... anyhow...
i like tube better coz cost wise its very affordable with the features packed in...

if i not wrong.. they are using a blue tube to play music in their TVC....
isn't that our tube is cooler .... even maxis us it in their TVC and not their own iphone....

To add digi WAP/MMS/Internet GPRS services... follow the below

Menu - Settings - Connectivity - Destinations


For Digi Wap --
go into the Wap Services submenu and option to add the WAP new access point with the given parameters.

For Digi MMS
Go into Multimedia Msg. submenu and add the add the MMS new access point with the given parameters.

For DigiStream + Digi Internet
I suggest you add these two to Uncategorized submenu as you dont want connected to internet using GPRS unless you dont mind paying high price for gprs data

the S60 inplement the cert security method to verify the publisher apps so that its certified malware free...
if we got those unsigned one from some unkown site... does it really safe to use of use at own risk..... can they attach some virus / spy / keylogger/ malware to it??

are there neccessary to an antivirus for the S60 OS???

from my phone setting... its used packet data bearer for all the services....

Gateway IP Address: Yes it is the Proxy server Address in the Advance Settings
For wap... use port 80

for the connection security and session mode just ignore it...
my setting is auto configured when i plug in my sim card the first time...

you may request digi to sms the setting to you....

visit the above url and select the "Via Web" option... then it will guide you to select the hp brand and model...
after that it will sms the setting to u within 5-10 minutes...
when u receive that setting... just save the settings and it will appears in your phone destinations list...

Strange i just requested the sms settings and it fine with my phone... try add in manually loh..maybe some other digi user can help

i don't think the sp is the culprit.. i'm using cheapo RM10 sp also... no problem...
if your leather case have another plastic layer cover the screen.. then maybe... else don't tink so either...

the touch screen is a resistive tech.. this mean you need to apply slight mild pressure to register a touch...
for more info on resistive touch tech...refer to FP on the topic of "Mobile OS shootout" .. its a great article to know your phone better...

maybe you touched on the wrong button too... when call coming in... try touch the answer button instead..

the top right corner of sp is not be covered because the proximity sensor is located there...
if u cover that then the sensor won't work properly lioa...
if it covered.. just cut it off the sp with scissor lor....

just manage to find just some chinese songs that i interested from there...
the english songs are useless and nonsense to me...

this is quite subject and depends on ur usage...
if you play music, call, sms alot.. then it usually last a day or two...
the standby time can last for few days.... maybe you can try the below.

two major thing that work 4 me....
1. turn down the light sensor to min level
2. exit/close all unused apps when not used...

other setting
1 set WLAN availability to Never
2 turn down the Blink Light notification time
3 turn down Ringing Volume a bit
4 turn off Touch screen vibration

err.. how short the new usb cable?? u buy ori 1 or ap??
i bought mine ori bout 1+1/2 month ago and the usb cable length is approx 48 inch (tip2tip measure with ruler)..


1 thing i don like is the radio reception... it damm bad radio reception.... too much white noise...
can't even locate myfm chanel during the freq scanning...

like at starbucks or some wifi restaurant... then it free one... just like ur notebook wifi connection..

if u are using EDGE / 3G / GPRS.. then ur telco will charge according to your subscription contract..

i just received my phone digi bil.. and its listed there RM8 for GPRs that i used on AGPS...

yep... tat time just got the phone and done quite a lot of testing on gps and agps mah....
now smart lio loh... wil turn agps on onli when can't get any locking or when urgent basis....

sad thing that the log on show i used about 700KB..
GPRS fees $0.10 per 10KB
then my it should charge me: 700 / 10KB * 0.10 = RM7 only...

i tot digi cheated ... but then again i remember tat even if AGPS used 1 or 5KB (for locking) digi will also charged $0.10...
so.. i think my RM8 GPRS fee is justifiable.....
