QUOTE(JonYeap @ Oct 17 2009, 11:15 PM) not all bout genetic? hahaha what i meant was, if your mind were always thinking about genetics, then what's the use of having a fantasy body like our friend just now...he quoted paul walker's and brad pitt's pictures and i positive, we can have that kind of body la....lain la kalau macam ronnie coleman ke, franz zane ke, hahahaha that one is genetics !!! haha... if not mistaken, someone quoted, i think its darkie. genetics is the most important key factor. something bout a chiwawa cannot be as big as a bulldog. haha... if u r genetically small, u cannot break the barrier no matter how hard u can try. example... u can take all the protein u want, steroids, and do the most hardcore training in the world. but can u be as big like ronnie coleman? =.= haha... genetics is the key factor, yes but i think we shouldn't think of it too much...just think big, eat clean, and shred hard...hahaha edited : and i think you oso can be like paul walker la jonyeap...ikhlas ni...hahahaha This post has been edited by diablokun: Oct 17 2009, 11:33 PM |

QUOTE(winkybear @ Oct 17 2009, 11:49 PM) I was contemplating on whether to post pics of myself or not. I saw another thread where one of the guys here posted a pic of a guy with a guitar and calling him small/skinny, but to me he looked fit good job bro...it was awesome for a 1 month job....can see significant changes...imo, you are on the right path...keep it up... I've always been a skinny kid throughout my life. It wasn't a problem for me, as I was really active during high school (could run and play basketball quite well) despite me being skinny. I've always have friends, relatives, and people whom I've just met commenting on my skinniness, but I didn't really bother about it. It was only after I started uni that I started to get lazy, and laid off physical activity with plenty of boozing and other college kid activities which were unhealthy. It was then that I started developing a beer gut, and felt that I needed to change. I started 3 months back, with the first 2 months being really lazy workouts. Sometimes once or twice a week only, because there always seem to be other distractions. I ate a lot of junk food too throughout this period. My tummy grew bigger instead of smaller (due to my body type, it seems like fats only accumulate in that area, while other places remain stick thin). I only started getting into this seriously a month back. I took proper pre/post workout diet, read up about proper ways to work out, and read about proper diet. I do occasionally still eat junk food (maybe once a week), but as a whole, I've maintained a pretty good diet. I'm sure there's much improvement that could be made with it, but I do whatever I can throughout the day to eat properly. On normal days, I manage 4 meals. If there are morning classes, I manage 5 meals. So here are the pics: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(-Dan @ Oct 22 2009, 07:54 PM) Hmm, in the 2 months that I've been off going to the gym due to renovations, injury problems and exams, I think I've managed to keep my back a little bit in shape. Looks like the pullups I've been doing at home for the the past month worked. dude, nice lats...but i think your upper body look a lil bit weird when your arm was not developed at the same pace as your lats...u know what i mean aite...look like starscream ?? QUOTE(ken86 @ Nov 2 2009, 10:49 AM) just finish a 14 week cutting cycle AWESOME bro...totally awesome... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I've always lifted weights and my aim was to be strong, well people tend to be 'fat blind' and overbulked. I embarked on a fat loss journey, bought some lipo6 black from bata (GREAT SELLER!!!) I used wendler's 5/3/1 for training and carb cycling for diet. |

QUOTE(ken86 @ Nov 2 2009, 12:11 PM) I was 215 lbs bout 15% BF ? (no idea with the BF seriously)before and 175lbs after. If you really want some cold hard truth, take some before pictures with your camera, I was never aware of how fat I was, I thought i was "in shape" so to speak and it perplexes me when I saw my initial BEFORE PICS !! thanks a lot for the info...I think successful fat loss is all bout your diet, cardio and consistency (waking up at 5 am every morning to get on the hamster wheel , food prep ritual every sunday). I tend not to over-rely on supplements, the only stuff I used was nutrex lipo6-black but I used it very sparingly (only on times I felt enervated) and Xtend and the best fat loss supplement was my DIET. Never missed a meal and only one cheat meal per week. In conclusion, If u wanna get lean, START NOW! and worry less bout minutia stuffs like "will cardio in the morning on an empty stomach consume my muscle" , "will High reps tone my muscle and make me look leaner:x" ... What is there to shave may i ask lol ? I desperately need a tan .. kudos to you once again... Added on November 2, 2009, 12:21 pm QUOTE(strinq @ Nov 2 2009, 12:17 PM) Hey great job ken. shane mentioned "the guy"...so i think it can be just anybody lor... LOLHaha, i think shane meant the armpits cuz bodybuilders shave theirs? But no need lah, more macho this way. Get a tan at the beach now man, and people will be gawking. Dbl reason to go to the beach. This post has been edited by diablokun: Nov 2 2009, 12:21 PM |

QUOTE(ken86 @ Nov 10 2009, 10:01 AM) Diablokun : keep getting stronger thanks ken...am having shoulder problem right now, so hv to neglect benching for a while...will continue after full recovery and definitely train harder !! QUOTE(registryeditor @ Nov 10 2009, 10:25 AM) you actually have a point there. haha. believe it or not i can only bench around 60kgs max. now. while bulking but partly also due to my long arms and all but i dont think my chest is that small. but yeah, as long you're aim is to overload the muscle progressively, then it should be fine. i think even kai green does not benching equally to his competing partners...will go slow on poundage after this...thanks bro...This post has been edited by diablokun: Nov 10 2009, 10:34 AM |
