WEI will increase, since Vista capped the max score at 5.9 while Win7 is 7.9...

but no difference in game fps and benchmark, of course...

63C and 75C max for CPU and GPU respectively... nod.gif

dun blame the weather (especially if u know where i am now...), it's getting hot now... tongue.gif

actually, disabling multi-core rendering seems to improve the frame rate further...

really?? i'd never choose that option before. what is your explanation for increment of FPS?
i suppose multi-core randering for sure will help in gaming. blink.gif

Well seems like 9800m gtx sli is still staying strong as even 280m gtx sli can only come close to my posted score and mines at stock setting. Taken out the cpu score in comparison, 9800m gtx sli scores ahead of 280m gtx sli even more.

And I wouldn't hedge my bets based on a synthetic benchmark. They have the propensity to be highly un-reflective of real world performance. And your score would only be as good as your system is optimized for that particular benchmark.

I'm just stating what i see and read. No doubt 280m gtx is a little superior compared to 9800m gtx still the difference is not much to shout about. Check it out at notebookforum for feedbacks on gaming wise Mr. Doctor and Greasemonkey. I do not see the need to PROVE anything here as there are plenty of feedbacks and comments out there waiting for u to open up your eyes and read before stating further comments here.

honestly speaking, how much difference are u expecting in the first place???

the GTX 200 series and 9 series uses the same GPU... (in fact, a 9800M GTX is essentially the same as a GTX 260M...)

considering there's no change in the architecture of the GPU at all, it's not surprising that the difference is not great...

if u compare 9800M GTX and GTX 280M like the way u do for a 9800GTX and GTX 280, i ve nothing to say...
