Well i was worried that vista ultimate 64 bit will have multiple compatibility issues with current games so decided to stick to 32bit for now.

As for ram usage, currently at idle uses 50%, playing game wise ram usage varies according to what game i'm playing.

Basically the more graphic inducing games, the higher the usage of ram but then only 3GB are useable through 32 bit os.

i really think something wrong with my 3dMark06 software.
if my driver is the problem, i assume there is decrease in performance on my GC.
but why i still be able to play Crysis Warhead with Enthusiast setting? (1920x1200 & AA x2)
*
Is the enthusiatic setting the highest in crysis warhead? I recalled played it with the highest setting as well @1920x1200 with no lag at all but at times the framerates will drop to about 20-25 though. So its not surprising that yours are able to so as well. Anyway GTX280m are supposed to perform better though compared to 9800m gtx. The only qs now is why the your benchmark score so low?

Sniff sniff, did i or did i not smell burning? tongue.gif . It's pretty obvious your mobo's running hot not to mention your gc running with temperature @8x degree and max at 100 lol. Becareful not to burn your gc or mobo though. A piece of advice though, if you are doing so for benchmark only by all means but for long run or games, be prepared to get yourself a new laptop though as even the best cooling system will not save your lappie if its constant temperature's around the threshold. wink.gif Just my 2 cents.

Well seems like 9800m gtx sli is still staying strong as even 280m gtx sli can only come close to my posted score and mines at stock setting. Taken out the cpu score in comparison, 9800m gtx sli scores ahead of 280m gtx sli even more.

I'm just stating what i see and read. No doubt 280m gtx is a little superior compared to 9800m gtx still the difference is not much to shout about. Check it out at notebookforum for feedbacks on gaming wise Mr. Doctor and Greasemonkey. I do not see the need to PROVE anything here as there are plenty of feedbacks and comments out there waiting for u to open up your eyes and read before stating further comments here.

M1730 is my dream laptop last time, with SLi solution, but after that slowly strong GC 1 by 1 coming out....
Maybe 8700SLi in 3D mark pawn GTX260M, but interm of game that not supported SLi, it will be pawn back.... Although it is support by SLi, it is only slightly better than GTX260M,(Asus G51VX series laptop, all thier GTX260M had been downclock)

Guess M'sia really needs to revise its approach on the importance of english language. It is really sad to see the sentence above poping out in forums where youngsters nowaday can't even type a proper full sentence.
