QUOTE(sixshot @ Apr 21 2010, 02:21 PM) i doubt so...most brands dun favour high spec models in MY... in SG 3820TG and 4820TG with i7-620M and HD5650 sells for SG$1.7k (student price) This post has been edited by astria: Apr 21 2010, 02:23 PM |

alright, did some fine-tuning to the table...
due to shift towards Vantage, from now on, whoever provide Vantage score, even if 06 score is lower than others, it will still appear first in the group... GF7 and Radeon X100 have been removed... Added on April 24, 2010, 3:24 pmand 1 more thing, for laptops with NV GPU, disable PhysX before running Vantage... This post has been edited by astria: Apr 24 2010, 03:24 PM |

well, unless someone has a better way of organising the list... else i would remove it (and HD3000 as well) in the near future...
actually by this analogy, i should remove GeForce 9M as well... |

QUOTE(eugene_tan6 @ Apr 29 2010, 02:58 PM) no offence intended, i am juz curious...my own view is that, if u can have such a rig and oc to such a level, u surely knows at least sth abt hardware spec and performance... in any way, HD5470 has 10 times less SP and 1/4 of the memory bandwidth of a desktop HD5770... Added on April 29, 2010, 3:06 pm QUOTE(xKAIZERUx @ Apr 29 2010, 03:04 PM) we can actually tell with the numbering. and few more research can we conclude that ATi HD5450 not that good in gaming, just light and casual gaming. 1GB of memory is really wasted, it doesnt have enough power to fill all even 512mb of vram. corrected... your 5770 have 800sp, 5450 have 80sp. HD5470, 64-bit memory controller...
i dun think the memory controller can fill up the RAM fast enough... more over, with so little SP, u can't switch on all the effects when playing games... less effect = less memory needed... |

to be honest, even my HD4650 (4 times the SP as HD5470) also cannot use finish all the 1GB RAM available...
