i ve a feeling we need to move on from 3D Mark 06 to sth better... it's DX11 now and we re still stuck at DX9...

anyone can suggest other good graphic synthetic benchmark???

seems like GT335 and GT330 have big big big different

ya, so the score u getting 11k is at the native resolution(1920x1080) or 1280x1024?
*
yeah... even though both fall under the 330 series, the SP count is very huge...

But according to your GPUZ testing, your core clock default setting was 400, then your actual operating GPU clock was 550. Cannot be right?
*
ATi PowerPlay at work, i presume...

moreover, GPU-Z dun seem to able to detect the new cards nicely... i would assume it should be using GDDR3 in order to ve such a high score...

seems like 5650 + core i5 540 doesnt make a good results
*
actually, if u look at the CPU score, Core i5-560M is already very close to wat Core i7-720QM can offer...

so conclusion would be that high speed dual core is still better than low clock quad core...

well, i ve no problem with that... 06 is getting abit old if u ask me...

but one thing abt Vantage is that, pls turn off PhysX support... else it's unfair to ATi cards...

it's not ATi struggling... more like AMD and NV cannot reach an agreement and thus no PhysX for ATi... i ve seen a Radeon HD3850 running Vantage with modded Catalyst and PhysX enabled... the CPU score flew like NV cards...

in the mean time, ATi supports Havok (by Intel) instead... and Havok is popular in console games...

well, u can consider others like Asus N82Jv (GT 335M, rm3999) or Lenovo Y460 (HD5650, rm3299)

both GPU are better than GT 330M...
