QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Nov 27 2009, 07:27 AM)
i5 maybe? i7 without HT?
by the way, what is the different between i5 and Quad?
*
i5 is basically the same as i7, also a Clarksfield, juz that HTT has been disabled...

main difference with a C2Q would be new architecture (with SSE4.2 as well), shared L3 cache, and integrated memory controller...

means that below a certain temperature, the CPU cannot function properly...

iirc Phenom II is suppose to be the first CPU (in consumer market at least) without the cold bug... that's y can use liquid nitrogen and oc sibei super kaw kaw to 7GHz...

from de specs, acer 5935g is damn good but...are there any neutral party out there that thinks acer 5935g is good too? bcuz acer got too much negative reviews.....dun wanna spend 4k to buy a lappie, den after 3 months here and there all problems
*
spec wise, it's wat u can get for rm4k even for other brands...

Dell SXPS 16, BenQ S57 (rm3699 or less, P8700 with HD4650 instead)...

same spec would be Asus N51Vn (EOL-ed) and Asus N61Vn (rm4499 iirc)

NFS Shift (patch 1.02) | 1280 x 720 | average 20FPS

Settings:
[attachmentid=1340551]
[attachmentid=1340552]
[attachmentid=1340554]

(can get better frame rate if use in-car view. But the game become laggy because of the stupid physic mechanism : you need to install PhysX even you don't have any PhysX hardware...  sad.gif  )
*
it's not installed in my laptop, which has ATi graphic...

anyway, with only 16SP on a G 210M, i think u re beter off switching it off...

QUOTE(M1X @ Dec 6 2009, 12:06 AM)
You will start complaining when your car hit some objects, anything. The game will lag... Either there's problem with the game or problem with hardwares. But I bet it the problem of the game. If you not patch to latest version, you probably only get GAME CRASH... GAME CRASH... GAME CRASH...
*
well, i play the initial release and it never crash...

i guess it's a combination of driver and game problem...

guess the GT200 GPU is too new for the game to handle... laugh.gif

a new driver is probably wat's needed most, followed by game patch...
