hmm, but afaik, CF is actually more robust than SLI... especially after AMD separated the CF profiles from the Catalyst...

and another thing is that CF scales better than SLI (more performance gain for the same number of cards)...

ah well, at lest that's wat i read from the desktop reviews...

sry, i better make my question clearer. when i click 10.5, there are few options. but got 2 option make me kinda blur. 1 is Catalyst Software Suite adn another 1 is Catalyst Control Center. the 1st 1 is Full Software Suite while the 2nd 1 is individual download. but i already download the 1st 1 and installed ^^

just received a word from someone that GTX480M + i7-980 hexacore = ~12k.

and yes, its Sager.. but wanna see the real life benchmark first.

anyway, want to asking all the sifus here :

Based on specs and theory, of course 5870 CF got the heads up. Still, performance per watt, benchmarks and drivers support need to be considered unless you just want the fastest lappy, I would say 5870 CF is the one.

too little info to determine how far GTX 480M can go...

by specs alone, theoratically 480M should be at better than HD5870 CF... but the clocks on 480M is a pretty big uncertainty...

really can't say anything for sure...
