well if u want to find really good wedding photographer, i suggest u look at photomalaysia or photokaki as all the legendary wedding photographers hangs there...bear in mind, MOST of them is not on the same boat as us

ok... now armed with an A200 myself, i was always worrying about indian weddings too... not too mention low light conditions... now... honestly, do u shoot at ISO1600/3200 when desperate... cos sometimes the clients dont really pixel peep do they...

will do safriz. haha... got flickr, but only uploaded very very little photos... and now my CF is so full i don't have anywhere to store my photos (pc tengah down sbb bilik tgh renovate  )
shutter around 1/4 to 1/15 without flash? wah...

but i definitely agree wit you on the ISO1.6/3k part... that's why i was desperate to jump to the A700.... but still no money coming in from my equipment... so yea i gotta wait... for the A800/850 or sumthin i hope... 

not really. i can bump my iso to 1600 anytime...that's coz i'm using a700 lah 

im quite a pixel peeper...but for wedding..capture the moment is much more important than pixel peeping..if really really cannot...i rather increase to 800/1600 instead of getting blurry photos....the noise would be terrible..but well..at least u capture it..and there are chances where u could save it during your PP....and usually if ppl print the photos..it wont be so big..so the noise isnt that obvious too...

haha, yeah i'm damn happy currently on what my gears are able to do. now the next upgrade would be an UWA lens kot. hehe

hehe actually before i get myself into it seriously i wanted to make sure i have proper gear and not just learning gear myself... my recent savings were pointing towards A700... now towards 10-20 pulak... cos takut A7 replacement wud be waaay better... of course it'd be expensive la... but i think i wanna squeeze the most out of my A2 before making the jump...

Low light shooting most importantly get flash la imo. Even f1.8 without flash would look abit weird.

Guys, is there anyway to get the sharpness out of the kitty? Hmmmm.....all my photos, i see there is a lack of sharpness to the photo.....esp when pixel peep.... anybody here know the 'secrets' of the kitlens? hahahahaha!

That's why I'm looking forward to a affordable FF (*hint* A850 *hint*) to be released soon.

It will open up a whole new door to lenses. Kit lens replacement? No problem. You can use a Sigma 28-75 f2.8 or the KM28-75 or the KM 24-85 or the SAL24-105 or the KM 24-105 and the list goes on and that's discounting the premium Zeiss glass.

Want a ultra wide angle? Just get a Sigma 20mm or the SAL20mm and you have a decent ultra wide that you can use for more than landscapes.

The 50mm becomes more than a portrait lens automagically!! You can easily do street shoots with this one lens alone. You wanna travel, just pack the 20mm and the 50mm and you're all set!

If you have a little bit more to spend, get the SAL70300G and you are all set. Your set up:

1. 20mm prime (landscapes, outdoor environmental portraitures, large groups)
2. 50mm prime (street shoots, small groups and normal portraits)
3. 70-300mm (telephoto portraits)

Not one of the lenses exceeding RM3k and you've got most of the things covered! And you get big apertures for 2 out of 3 of your lenses!!!
