My comment - u think too much of buying a valuable lens - go buy n u will say this - 'why I didnt buy the lens earlier'. Almost all my commercial indoor studio portrait shots were done with this lens and my clients repeatedlly enggaged me. 2 music cds - 1) ika/alif duets 2) siti hajar, rosma dan khai - were done with that 50 mm and a chinese singer Jyin anti smoking magazine /billboard campaign that will be lauched soon also was done with this 50mm. 3 tv dramas promotional pics ,a full feature films promotional pics will soon...shall i say more...so waddaya waiting for.

erm guys,wanna ask ah whats the use of creative mode? i see got so many option and somemore can tweak 3 option.

btw, any1 going to KL photography exhibition at midvalley today? hows the price? good bargain price? i am looking for 50mm 1.8 and tripod .. if cheap enough, i am going today .. ..

@hanafi, I paid 2k ++ for them. I tested the PWPII on A100, A300 and A700. All three cameras works well with the PWPII. No more worries on the line of sight and limited range with Sony wireless.

Test shot with A700 + KM 75-300, 1/50, f5.6, ISO 200 & focal length = 300mm.

I tried to register my F58 but getting error invalid serial or model .. I tried:

Model: HVL-F58AM / HVLF58AM

but didn't work. any idea what should I put in?

I registered my A700 successfully but only got 12 months warranty instead of 18 months .. .. CZ1680 has 18 months warranty .. ..

btw guys, can you post picture taken with your A700 at ISO200 or ISO400??? I can see noise even outdoor at ISO200 on my A700 .. ;( .. i just want to make comparison ... either it is just settings or this is the lack of sony dslr .. I am using firmware 4 d ..

er.. I think all lens for SONY will not have the stabiler.. As the IS is built in to the SONY camera body. unlikely Sigma 18-250 for Alpha mount will have the stabilizer.

Maybe you try to email SONY to ask them register the F58 for you and the extended warranty of A700. Last time I register my F58 only 15 month warranty. after I email them, they change to 18month warranty.

emm .. any A700 user wanna share the settings, setting tricks etc to produce better picture? . ..

I jump back to sony because I like the color produced by sony. So colorful and I can't get it in Canon body with cheapo lens. L lens might produces something different but i have not much money to spend at least rm3k-4k everytime I buy lens. with sony, it produces colorful picture even with cheapo lenses ..

no doubt, nikon is famous with its colorful picture but i give my trust again to sony because of its in-body IS (SSS) .. I can shoot with ease even at 1/5 shutter speed with ANY lens .. the other fact I jumped back to sony is because of the price .. with my budget, I could get A700, CZ1680, F58 and 70-200 (later when I sell off my canon 70-200) .. stated lenses and flash are high end of sony line up .. .. I believe i could not get 70-200, sb900 and high end multi purpose lens if I choose Nikon ..

in terms of noise, from my 3 days experience with A700, I found that Sony is slightly behind Canon 40D at high ISO performance. but I believe, A700 produces great picture and good high ISO performance (from reviews, it is on par with Nikon D300). I just need time to get the correct settings .. .. it would be a great help if someone share me the settings or tricks that should I alter on my a700 body .. ..

yea i noticed Canon colour is not strong enough..not sure after pumping the Vivid in the setting though. Yea...Sony SSS is nice...i believe ur target 70200 is 3rd party. Btw u jump like tht sure rugi banyak... unless u didnt return the 70200 2.8 to the 'sky'..

I am planning to get Sony 70-200 .. .. but if tamron 70-200 is good enough, I will go for tamron with BG and macro lens with the budget i have .. .. ah, dont need talk about it since i have no money at the moment .. .. when the money comes, I will decide it .. ..

err...i think nikon 70200 price same as Sony..no? anyway..new 1 came out edi..70200 VRII...rumour saying tht it could reach 10k.

nope .. it is not same .. sony is just rm5.5k while nikon's is rm6.3k .. that are the street price .. and the price of nikon d300 is rm1k more than a700 ... make it almost rm2k different just for 2 items .. sony flash is just 1.1k white sb900 is 1.6k .. .. i am not that rich to get nikon .. ..
