Now Ronaldo's gone, i wonder who will be hated the most in United by rival fan. Macheda is the best candidate after Owen.

They hate us all because we are Man United and we couldn't find a way to stop winning trophies. tongue.gif

Blog: Latest from Munich

Monday 27 July (all times are local, 1 hour ahead of UK)

16:15 – By the way, I can confirm Nemanja Vidic, Antonio Valencia and Craig Cathcart are all here in Munich after missing the trip to the Far East. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing Valencia pull on a United shirt for the first time, especially after Zoran Tosic and Darron Gibson performed so well in Asia. No doubt Valencia will have been watching those games, so he'll be well aware of the competition he's up against.

JM can makes you like him so much when he is your manager. He too can piss you off if he is the rival manager.

That's about JM and that's the reason why Chelsea fans loved him so much and we hated him so much but he has the talents definitely.

Man Utd is the club where you don't see the owner(s) interfere much on the on-field football. They leave it entirely to the manager to decide which is what the people want.

darren = angelic?
well we're not on the other side so we dunno what effect SAF has on them.
i believe JM does believe in scouting for good young rough talent, nurturing newbies and getting the most out of oldies.....if not his old team wouldn't win the UCL
*
Sir Bobby Charlton doesn't like JM, mainly because of his cockiness

Sometimes, the cockiness that drove someone to the success..

Beside his cockiness, his relationship with players is awesome i guess

then 1 day let say JM left united, all the players want to follow him to his new club, LMAO laugh.gif

i dont prefer SAF replacement to be somseone high profile, someone like Moyes could do the job easily, its because of he's passionate with football & the club he's managing, not passionate of himself thumbup.gif

one thing is about attractive football..another thing is effective football...i think during JM time in Chelsea, he did deliver attractive football when he play 4-3-3 system with drogba as central forward and robben and joe cole on the flanks. but everything was destroyed when the owner try to force JM to play 4-4-2 system to accommodate the arrival of shevchenko. by the way, i don't think SAF wants to retire in the near future. i can still see the fire in him to continue leading MU to a lot of trophies to come. but who knows, perhaps he might chose to retire if he win another champions league trophy.

They were quite good going forward when 2 of Duff, Robben and J.Cole on the wings, with Gudjohnsen in midfield started. But they have these safety first approach, close shop attitude toward the end of games. Then after that he was sort of forced to play Sheva, and he went with that wingless approach, which fail spectacularly. 4 midfield diamond, and 2 strikers?

Looking at him with Inter in the Serie A, where they are streets ahead(should be, because of the scandals gone last few seasons which made Juventus have to start from square one) of everyone, yet they really didn't have it all their way. Guess the team really isn't that good as it is made up to be by the media. Apart from Zlatan, they don't really have anyone there.

If we're looking for someone with the right mentality and charisma to take over SAF, then I would say he would be the top one in that respect. But if we're talking about approach to games, not quite so sure.
