QUOTE(onepack @ Jul 21 2009, 10:58 AM) another money well spend.. totally worth it!! Next time they come, we'll see the next generation of legends.. #7, Darren Fletcher! etc.. the atmosphere not as amazing as saturday nite but still great with paluan gendang and malaysia!! shout. not as many goal but still entertaining match.. glad i was there. and its only RM58 for RM98 value seat hope united will continue coming to malaysia as a must to them.. maybe in 6yrs time 2015 but next time it could be no more giggsy,scholes,VDS,neville.. maybe even SAF nak gi old trafford tah bile pulak.. cant wait the new season to start.. rasa mcm ade yg tak kene je bila weekend Added on July 21, 2009, 12:06 pm QUOTE(scofield @ Jul 21 2009, 12:01 PM) My Red Ron Ron left on good terms.. who knows, if it doesn't work out for him at Real, we could get him for 1/4 the price he left us. Ron Gone wouldnt mind if he's coming back to us, but looking at SAF history, he never buys back the player he have sold..correct me if i'm wrong.. Owen=Ole.. muahaha.
Anderson made lots of long lovely passes in both games.. with Fletcher and Carrick, shouldn't be a problem in midfield. The wings look a bit weak though. Nani really need to wake up before the season starts and hopefully Valencia will provide the width needed down the right.. |

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Jul 21 2009, 04:48 PM) If we were to go for one has-been in Owen, why not Beckham? It'd keep us at the back pages and we could use a stop-gap for one season till someone is available. =/ Because we don't want to pay for him maybe. But that side is not bad huh?Imagine the 'rotated' 11 Foster Neville-Evans-Brown-Fabio Beckham-Scholes-Giggs-Nani Owen-Macheda |

Jalil, anak Pak Abu..
Does Ronaldo leaving open the door for Wayne Rooney to claim that mantle? ------------------------ SAF: Well, we are a different team now and we will shape it differently. We’ll be more compact in midfield because he [Ronaldo] was a bit loose in his defending. We’ll be more compact, but we also have the increasing maturity of players like Darren Fletcher. Owen Hargreaves will come back, Anderson will improve, Nani will improve, Rooney will improve. I think they’ve got to improve, the young players, and we expect them to improve. I think Dimitar Berbatov will have a terrific season, too. So we’re not so bad. ------------------ Darren Fletcher.. future legend. Him and Anderson will boss the midfield in a few years. |

QUOTE(Red11DEvils @ Jul 23 2009, 09:57 AM) seoul fc vs man utd live at 6.55pm so early how to watch... hoping for replay ... I think SAF meant that we don't have to rely on him week in week out like at Newcastle, which is when he got injured a lot, because they rush him too early etc, plus the burden they put on him. It'll be different with us. He won't be expected to start every game.after owen 2 games with man utd.. hope he can maintain good form for the new season n help man utd push for 19th titles.. The godfather said..he wont use owen week in week out..maybe he will apply same strategy on owen like how he use giggsy QUOTE(caballero206 @ Jul 23 2009, 10:01 AM) I think the reason SAF gave Owen no. 7 shirt is to inspire him to shine with United, and not just playing as a backup striker or first choice sub. I'm damn sure he will be playing every game next season and i can say that he will be playing the most game in one season for the first time in his career. It's just a number. Anderson got #8, but is not a regular. Rooney-Berba will be first choice, and Owen will have Tevez's role last season, which isn't bad at all. He will get plenty of games. It's been a while since we have a striker that actually is a natural in the penalty box.For someone who's given no. 7 will not be expected to warm the bench. SAF knows better than the rest of us. I admit its a big gamble, but he is someone worth betting on. |

QUOTE(caballero206 @ Jul 23 2009, 10:56 AM) Great number comes with great responsibility. I still wanna believe that its not just a number. I hope SAF and Owen himself proves me right. Owen won't be a regular for sure. Got Berba-Rooney ahead of him. He will still have a big role for us though.. see Tevez last season.QUOTE(vandetta @ Jul 23 2009, 11:12 AM) People called Owen as injury prone. But isn't his injury is the same injury Rooney and Beckham had, broken metatarsal? And Beckham in his first season in Galaxy also getting continues injuries, because they rush him in to play for the team. I think it is the same problem rely to Owen, his predecessor club always rush him in to play before he fully recover and that is why he became injury prone. If he get enough treatment, and enough time to recover if injured, he should be able to run like Rooney and Beckham now. He got 2 really bad seasons(first 2 seasons) at Newcastle. After that looking at the stats, he seemed OK playing a lot of games for them. He's not injury prone like Saha where he would miss a lot of games and break down every time he comes back. Hopefully that will be the case for us in his time here.Make sense, isn't it? |

It's not just marketing. It's the only available 'big' number left since all the others have been taken.

Should have come for the first game aztechx.. that one was full. I will remember that forever.
As for Manucho.. we got first option/buy-back clauses on him I bet.. there's still hope. Added on July 23, 2009, 7:48 pmRemember Eto'oo at Real? Got loaned out, then turn into a very good striker, then move to Barca where he became one of the best in the world. Let's view Manucho like that..
