Anderson made lots of long lovely passes in both games.. with Fletcher and Carrick, shouldn't be a problem in midfield.

The wings look a bit weak though. Nani really need to wake up before the season starts and hopefully Valencia will provide the width needed down the right..

That would be my preferred choice for now, although looking at Nani's form so far, Park would still be ahead of him if he doesn't improve his performances.

Nice siggy eddy. Owen #7 on our shirt does look kinda nice. Looking forward to seeing him in a competitive game for us.

I think SAF meant that we don't have to rely on him week in week out like at Newcastle, which is when he got injured a lot, because they rush him too early etc, plus the burden they put on him. It'll be different with us. He won't be expected to start every game.

It's just a number. Anderson got #8, but is not a regular. Rooney-Berba will be first choice, and Owen will have Tevez's role last season, which isn't bad at all. He will get plenty of games. It's been a while since we have a striker that actually is a natural in the penalty box.

Owen won't be a regular for sure. Got Berba-Rooney ahead of him. He will still have a big role for us though.. see Tevez last season.

He got 2 really bad seasons(first 2 seasons) at Newcastle. After that looking at the stats, he seemed OK playing a lot of games for them. He's not injury prone like Saha where he would miss a lot of games and break down every time he comes back. Hopefully that will be the case for us in his time here.

It's not just marketing. It's the only available 'big' number left since all the others have been taken.

Should have come for the first game aztechx.. that one was full. I will remember that forever.

As for Manucho.. we got first option/buy-back clauses on him I bet.. there's still hope.

Let's view Manucho like that.. He's unlucky we have Rooney, Macheda and Welbeck that time.. and also that Diouf guy who look like Saha a bit.
