bad refereeing in that game, but i fair for both sides. chelsea second goal shouldnt be played in the first placed, and rooney was an inch offside..
i love to see fletcher in the midfield..showed how much we missed him in final rome.. p/s: is it just me, or is everyone got annoyed by how many times the commentator mention about chelsea's diamond.. everytime also "diamond, diamond diamond" This post has been edited by ApeKG: Aug 10 2009, 09:04 AM |

Did u guys see how evra celebrates after Rooney scores? I saw him running pass Rooney (dunno where he went) and then he just smile2 at the crowd (not sure which team fans)..lol
I was like err.err...and then hahahahaha...you are so damn cool evra..and after that still discussing with ballack how the drama started..their conversation i think sounds like this.. Evra: Yo Mike, what's up with the elbow? It hurts me okay. MB: You are a defender, what the hell are you doing around my penalty box? |

QUOTE(eddy_87 @ Aug 10 2009, 03:38 AM) heck, i think we still missing that 1 target man for our team... I don't think our attacking got any issues....they really done brilliantly in the 1st half and shud not the amazing cech....we would have end the half time by 3-0....now that we've lost CR7, i think we should replace someone that can be the "oldskool" striker (ruud?) who will hang around the opponent's box waiting for tap in scoring. yes, we have owen but i doubt he'll chosen over berba we already have good feeders, just lack that 1 target man....geesh kinda worry liao if like this coz rooney & berba is somehow more as a playmaker... as for the game, eventhough we'd lost at least im glad that we scored an equalizer against those scum somehow foster really looks like wanna cry ask SAF to take him off berba should play the way he play in the first 25min or so for the whole match, could see the improvement obviously nani was trying too hard again to prove himself but unfortunate for his injury, park was all over the places & perhaps one of his worst game? valencia was invi, lol the game was one-sided so cant blame him overall, till we get our gk, defenders & obertan in action, we still very » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 2nd half our beloved foster has ruin the momentum by doing some simple schoolboy error....sigh...england keeper seems to have this trend..... ballack is one of the kaki busuk in this football world....so no doubt he is the one to create all this mess... but guyz....remember....chelsea is still chelsea...they are still playing with same player while we have lost our CR7....they are one of the last four team in last year UCL...they have some point to proved...they are no fluke...they are a solid teams.... we only lose in penalty....no point to be panic or anything...i still see more positive rather den negative in this match....furthermore this is a curtain raiser... yeap i agree....EVRA IS STILL COOL....even with that yellow card.... |

QUOTE Portugal midfielder Nani impressed, but Ferguson revealed he could now be set for a spell on the sidelines. "We could not put the shoulder back in, so that is the worrying part for us," said Ferguson, who has had to reshape his attack following the summer departures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez. "He had done very well, and we are very pleased with his performance." United goalkeeper Foster, 26, was standing in for injured Edwin van der Sar, but did not enjoy the best of afternoons and let Lampard's shot through his gloves for Chelsea's second goal. Ferguson, though, has every confidence in the England stopper, who is likely to face Holland in next week's friendly. "Knowing Ben and the ability which he has, he should have done better with the second goal," said the United boss. "However, it was his first big challenge. "He has waited a long time, has had his injuries, and in pre-season I spread the load between the three 'keepers, and maybe we did not have enough minutes for him. "But the important thing is, knowing his ability, it means I do not have any worries about him." Ferguson felt United should have put the game beyond Chelsea following their dominant first half, with defender Ricardo Carvalho eventually pulling the FA Cup winners back in it on 52 minutes. "We should really have put the game to bed," he said. "The equaliser really knocked us back, and at that point Chelsea were the better team. "The second goal was the deciding factor." Ferguson added: "We should have been three or four goals up. When you get chances in big matches and do not take them, you can suffer and we did today." For new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, it was a first piece of silverware in English football. The Italian coach made several tactical changes during the second half, which paid off. "We found it difficult, but we were better in the second half when we put more strength on the pitch. In the end, we deserved to win," Ancelotti said. "It was an important start to the season and now we have to continue to work and improve. "I like the mental attitude of the players and the organisation of the club. "We are now ready to start a very important season and want to do the best. "This result is important because it proves our possibilities." On the controversy in the build-up to the second goal, the Chelsea manager said: "The referee can stop the play and also the players can put the ball out. "However, for sure they did not see Evra down on the pitch, because a Chelsea player would put the ball out if they saw an opponent down." |

great game only ruin by bad referee..
never was a fan of penalty to decide a winner unitil last nite.. united definately dont deserve to lose on full 90min. a draw was a fair result for a fair match. more important united look good especially on first half.. and yesterday prove "tiada ronaldo, tiada masalah" also we still undefeated!! |

berba is lazy 4 sure.. big improvement by nani and fletcher... they play 2 shine.. not shined to play like late ronaldo... so much media spoilt him.. make him bigger than man utd... united plays well... good game.. as for my opinion u juz need another good winger that is a playmaker... an experienced winger.. ribery as an example.... good attacking vision.. nice poacher u have there actually.. rooney... evra did so well its oni the penalty he needs to concern more... ji sung park is still not good enough for man utd.... sorry.. juz an opinion...

I think everyone did really well...nothing much to complain.
Nani + Evra were awesome. They did really big damage on the left, ivanovic wasnt able to handle them on the first half until bosingwa had to be brought in during the second half. Berbatov's gotten more chances than rooney yesterday. Fletcher was clearly the amazing man, holding the ball, defending and attacking. |
