Amd Ql 64 maximum stable temperature is 100 degree celcius. means 90 C is not a heat issues unless u can feel it with ur hand. if not then when u saying heat issues it must be/exceed the max stable temperature. this is max stable temp. not that the cpu will fry.

QUOTE(Hico @ Sep 14 2009, 11:33 PM) why u say k40ab is far better??? cos the gc is better? any other aspect? actually acer its also come with 4 gb ram and 3 yrs waranty and hdmi port..this is the good point.. but quality wise not sure lor.. well 1st if u buy acer with 4gb ram u can only utilize 3gb of it only...as it is preinstalled wit vista home premium 32 bit... well if u use hdmi port then k40ab is not the choise for u then.... and u will get logitech mouse if u buy k40ab...no need to buy another mouse... welll....noting more i gues... just the graphic card is far better.

dont worry. as long as u cant feel the heat its not an issue. and this cpu will not fry even at 100C. because the max stable temp is 100C. if u dont reach this temp then u r not having heat issue.

QUOTE(Najmods @ Sep 16 2009, 01:50 AM) Look, you only talking about yourself the whole time, I don't see benefits to other user. Yes you might say RM700 is little for you but A LOT to others. You get what you pay for, buy more get more, but not always. And seriously, unless you can give me some link or benchmark number, I don't believe QL-64 have the same processing power as some 1.4GHz single core low voltage Intel processor. And how you know QL-64 going to be slow? Have you tested it yourself? If you serious about gaming, forget buying cheap laptop. I don't believe Studio 15 is miles ahead of k40AB, low end card is a low end card, no matter what CPU it uses studio 15 gpu is better than k40ab/u80v/f81se gpu...it uses gddr3 memory which is at 800Mhz...while ours is ddr2 500Mhz...plus compare ram speed studios 15 can go up to ddr3 1066Mhz while k40ab is up to ddr2 667Mhz.. and in 3dmark06 scores k40ab scores 3k and u80v and f81se scores 3.2k. studios 15 scores 4k.. and yea its better... Added on September 16, 2009, 2:00 ame processing power of the ql-64 is same as of the new cluv single core intel running @ 1.4 ghz either ur joking or u dunno anything....even intel copy amd HT link into their new core i series...and u say amd sucks... yes its normal for 32 bit operating system. if u really want to utilise all 4 gigs of ur ram. better change to 64 bit operating system. u need to reformat the hard drive. doing a clean install. because u cant upgrade from 32 bit os to 64 bit os. i dont think its a problem for u since ur lappy is new.

QUOTE(xKAIZERUx @ Sep 18 2009, 08:37 AM) Guys, i'm considering getting a new HDD soon, and i'm in a bind. should I get the larger 500GB 5400rpm hdd or the faster 320GB 7200rpm hdd? is the performance in both hdd is really noticeable? u can refer here http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2.5-har...chmarks,25.htmland here http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2009-2....chmarks,53.htmlbut currently in the market here 7200rpm wit 16mb cache is western digital 320gb. but i will not recommend buying western digital disk...as it makes weird sound... find seagate disk. its always the best.
