today totally failed to connect to china websites.

zz...im facing extremely SLOW internet !!

i play twow...the ping will suddenly rise from 1~200 to more than 1000ping
and im using gamepath, i tried to ping the gate..but it din shows up request timeout

but when i ping DNS server 202.188.0.133/132/136...it shows tons of REQUEST TIMEOUT...DAMn it

max download speed 2XXkb/s upload speed seems normal -> 3XXkb/sec

Apparently, according to some TM high rank networking staff that came to my house to diagnose the problem of less than 0.2mb international...they said

That the circuit fault at the APCN2 Kuantan - Katong link caused them to lose 15GBps of bandwidth...

So they are "pulling" all traffic from that link to other routes... And they have to give Corporate and Business users higher priority.

In other words, they lost 15Gigs of bandwidth due to that circuit fault and then they have to take bandwidth from home users part to ensure that those Corporate/Business users get their bandwidth.

Other than that, they said that 16th Aug is only the day the "physical" part is restored.

It will take them about 1 or 2 more weeks to re-route traffic back to that link...

So, their final words on the issues were, most likly by September the issue will be resolved, but no guarantees that there will be no delays

And regarding the Upload faster than download...

it is because the upload is using another route than download, and outbound traffic route is not as congested as the downstream route...

well, that is what they said....up 2 u to believe or not



and well, like we can see from posts above...i have faced it in real life today....my friend's 512k account is CONFIREMD FASTER than my 1Mb...i wonder what is TM NOC doing? limit the higher bandwidth user that pay more in order for the lower bandwidth to maintain their speed?... asses...

Guys, anyone getting better connections...?

locally always good for me, but internationally still less than 0.2mb for me...

weird thing is few of my friends using 512k account can get 0.6mb to international links, which is 512's full capacity.

whereas me 1mbps and my other friend using 4mbps, less than 0.2mb to international...

how bullshit is that? perhaps it's time we start a Delay Your Streamyx Bill campaign...

i mean bloody hell i pay more than 512k users and i get slower speed... apa lagi my friend using 4mbps...

stupid TM engineers dont know how to do their job well...

suddenly my connection slowing down....i dont know what happened.

my streamyx connection on surfing website still acceptable.. but once i want to download somethings from the website like " easy-share.com , ziddu.com " my speed dropped to around 10kb per second.. 1 weeks ago.. before that i can get around 80kbps +..

This is normal for me. Even 4Mbps user has been connection compare to Normal package user.

Not all TMNet technician stupid, some of it are stupid and some of it genius lying maybe.

Anyway, my connections barely went better day by day...

Well I just faced 2 disconnections within 2 mins of each other 15 mins ago. Luckily my router is able to log in without issues unlike last night when I had to call 100 to reset to be able to get in after an hour trying to log in.

I wana buy and download software online also cannot, my antivirus & firewall expired de, plus my DVDrom spoilt, so i cant buy CD to install...

now wana use CC to buy antivirus online also cannot, scared later connection loss then need re download, later got complications etc etc... besides my max download from US server is only 10kB...wait until grow white hair...
