I'm getting 1.3k-2k ms at the moment.. since last 5 days ago and 3 days a week ago.. I live in Ipoh, the problem is suppose to happen in Penang, and my neighbour which live just 3 block from me is getting good ms (15ms!!) I know because I connect thru his wireless which he didn't set up password =.= and I also know where the problem lies because when I first got my line, my area doesn't have enough subscribe at the time to open a hub, so my line is being "tarik" from another residential area (that residential area is bad, very bad), now this area I'm living has good ms than I'm having (50-60ms!! vs 15ms that my neighbour having!!)

and Seriously, TMNET staff should educate themself more about what is ping and speed. I have called them million times (my problem exist one or two times every 3-4 month) since 2007. Everytime they asked me to do their speedtest, deeply in my heart I said have you done enough speedtest because of the terrible ping I can't even load your tm.net.my freaking website how do you want me to do speedtest. Then one of the call I made have a brilliant knowledge on what is ping (usually they only reply ping? is it slow ker? download slow? lmao) and she ask me to tracert and see my result here in my computer and her computer (she pinging my computer from there and she get the ping i'm getting and she was shocked too) and ok end here the good stories since I get the problem again after 3-4 month but I was shocked there's a staff there that know what is so easy to understand "PING" instead of "SPEED"..

Imma tomorrow go terminate my streamyx and applied Jaring instead..

*btw ping is better than what u test at those website (type cmd and enter and type ping www.tm.net.my or watever website address).. it give u more detailed result than the website that give u information in a fancy adverts.. when your ping is bad, everything about internet is B.A.D.

I'm getting a constant 800-1k ms at the moment. At Taiping now. Started at 4.33pm and still slow as ever right now. Happened once before around 3.30pm but it got better by 5pm. Can't get on WoW with at least yellow colored ping. Ok not to be demanding, at least below 700ms is OK la but still so bad. Even with SSH tunneling I'll get over 1kms. Without tunnel? It's more than my lvl 80 toon's HP. zzzzz.

Whenever I called them, it's not helping. Wai-- it's NEVER helping. They asked me to do all the noob things like restart your router blahblahblah. They want me to switch the router off for 15secs and after 15secs they ask IS IT CONNECTED? YOU CAN BROWSE NOW? -.- Don't they know the router will take some times to connect? And what, all you do with internet is browse? Simpleton.

Do I have good faith in switching to Jaring, cause I never saw a thread / topic about Jaring complaint in lowyat forum @@ Is Jaring really that stable?
I check with Jaring the other day and they said my area is available and they can even check that my phone is tied to streamyx and even know my streamyx line is being tarik from another residential lmao..

Any jaring user here can give me review on your internet stableness (I really don't freaking care about speed, 4mb line with unstable ping is like having not internet at all)

In Malaysia, we have a lot of natural disasters, earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, ice storms that could break a lot of things, broken cables, broken buildings, broken legs, broken heads

Was browsing normally around 4PM, but suddenly the speed begin to crawl like snail. Good job Screamyx.

Ok, now it's getting worse and difficult to connect. This is the current speed. Another job well done Screamyx.

Anyone else facing the same issue?
