hey guys, need a bit of shopping advice though. i'm torn between the ta790gx-128m and the ta790gx3-a2. any recommendations on either one? i'm trying to keep my costs a bit low, especially since the mobo is now breaking my old budget (was planning to get an ECS, the 780 ultra since it has the sb750 on it) but having tested it on my friends PC, i'm really disappointed to have found that i could only hit a maximum FSB of 240. going to be putting my current X4 on it, so i definitely need something which can hit 280.

ta790gx-128m is good enuf.
u can ask kunta. i think he is using the same board with u.

ta790gx3-a2 < i used this one before. but 128m is good enuf for u.

one vote for 790gxe 128m, a improved version of 790gx 128m. better pwm @ cpu & ram compared to 790gx3 a2+. smile.gif

Guys have you facing any unstable vcore provided while running your system as i faced it with my TX750... hmm.gif

vcore up to 1.50V and then suddenly drop to 1.488V...

im a bit curious~ hmm.gif

it's not psu related bro, it's more of vdroop issue, some sorta protection for d chip i think... smile.gif

sometimes my screen dint appear anything , but u can hear the background sound..
