QUOTE(CV6149 @ Aug 3 2009, 04:38 PM) guys need some help here... I dont have any idea since never use stock cooler. Can my old X2 F3 3800+ overclock from 2.8-3ghz with stock cooler. My 'wild' guess yes... how about you guys? if can get 3.0ghz at stock vcore, temp should be fine. ive try b4 with stock cooler. no prob.

3.3GHz using Stock Vcore. This the most stable setting that i can use for 4 Core I set the ACC to Per Core And Window 7 quite sensitive because cant Just install any Software / Driver / Application. If not will get blue screen. This post has been edited by twinkles: Aug 4 2009, 01:14 AM

QUOTE(-pWs- @ Aug 4 2009, 08:35 AM) Yup. 3.8GHz prime stable. -pWs-huhu..nice speed. last night i tried 3.8 also. but not prime stable. just pump 1.45vcore not dare to push more.no mosfet cooler just can run 3Dmark06. prime failed 2 minute. just want to try to see benchmark, just add 1000point over 3.4Ghz prime stable. it seem my gcard come to the limit. that good news that my proc not bottleneck like before. but all the time run x2 3.1G 1.15vcore for green2 PC.

yup, old models of biostar 790gx boards have weaker pwm (4 phase) if compared to newer (4+1 phase). noticeable change in components used (especially chokes) also make d latter better than their predecessors too. 1.4Xv for benchy still considered ok but not long hours primin... Anyone looking for AM3 SLI mobo?? QUOTE MSI Intros NF750-G50 SLI AM3 MotherboardMSI is ready with perhaps the industry's first SLI-supportive socket AM3 motherboard, certainly its first. The MSI NF750-G55 is based on NVIDIA nForce 750a SLI chipset, and has its AM3 socket powered by a 4+1 phase circuit, that supports Active Phase Switching that powers down redundant power phases when the load is low. The socket is wired to four DDR3 memory slots supporting up to DDR3-1800 by overclocking. The nForce chipset connects to two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots that arrange as electrical dual x8 when both are populated for 2-way SLI. Apart from this, the chipset also embeds a GeForce 8300 class IGP as a fallback, or for GeForce Boost features. The IGP connects using D-Sub, HDMI, and DVI-D. Other expansion slots include two PCI-E x1, and one PCI. The chipset provides six SATA II ports in all, one of which is designated as eSATA on the rear-panel, next to one gigabit Ethernet, a number of USB 2.0 and FireWire ports, and 8-channel audio. The NF750-G50 has started selling in Europe for under 100 Euros. Sauce Don't like the pwmsinks looks tho... Do u guys think this has nvidia version of ACC??

Do u guys think this has nvidia version of ACC?? 750a for acc? i thought only 780a which has been relabeled to <dunno what they call it> comes w/ nvdia's version of acc. layout gud for: 1. ppl who's not on pci device 2. on SLi setup w/ single slot pci-e sound card bad layout for: 1. ppl on SLi setup w/ pci sound card + dual slot gfx coolers gotta agree on not so effective mosfet/chipset coolin... but heck, this ain't a premium board so it's understandable. notice that it doesn't even come w/ d bling2 switches like reset or d cmos reset button. Kasi up lagi lar bang around 2.2-2.4 NB speed while HTT remains at 1.8Ghz....Even if all cars that moves is a Ferrari, no point also if the road is Bukit Putus... Dun forget to pump in 1.4-1.5v of CPUNB volts....
