Captain, I'm not a CB!! Play me in my position or I will sign for another club!!!  vmad.gif

Unlike James, i'm abit more democratic. Actually you can play in any other position, just as long as the person you replacing don't mind playing down. We're flexible coz we will play the Arsenal way later. Free flowing football, beauty to watch, joy to behold. We should play to entertain the crowd later. Just do what you like most later, the results will come.

It was a good session today, all turn up, was expecting last minute FFKers but surprised all turn up and came on time. Good to see that.

We won 4-2 with goals coming from Jonno, Ronald, Kang and Allan while we conceded 2, one of which penalty and another from a bad clearance. But in totality, it was a 1 sided affair where we dominated the midfield and defensively we were rock solid.

Jon the new guy was brilliant at the centre. Good footwork and ball control at the centre. Mike played very well at centre while Kang was intercepting lots of balls too. Ronald offered lots of attacking options with Allan in his predatory instincts best. Of coz Pono's friend was brilliant at the wings and Jonno the diver didnt dive that much but still scored a stunner. Defensively, i must say adrian and aw13 was superb. Both of them held the line very well and communicated with each other with the superb offside defensive line and etc. I didn't have much to do with a good defence in front of me.

Hard to pick a man of the match but i'd go with my trusty John 'AW13' Terry. Good aggresiveness inside the pitch and save our butt a couple of times. But conceded a penalty and received a yellow too. Haha. But dude, i believe the yellow card was just to please the fired up Indian dude who was yapping away.

Each of us paid RM14, maybe a lil expensive compared to futsal but the fun is 10 times more than futsal. Plus, its a really nice pitch too. Special thanks to James for volunteering to be a referee, a strict one too. He thought if he come as referee, no need to pay to be part of the game. Little did he know this game cost him RM300.

Naz,
How was your wife's cooking? Be honest, she's not a registered forummer here. Bet it sux rite?

Yeah, JTX is the new guy. But hey, the one handed save was nothing la. If it was struck with more power, i would have missed it. Having said that, my positioning prior to that save was bad, i was caught in no mans land but thankfully i tipped it out for a corner.

But i love the pitch, i can't see us playing at any other pitch, besides GIS. That is unless we try out MPSJ or 3K or Wisma FAS, all of which has very good natural grass too.

John,
Should have intro-ed all the guys to you before, but i only know your name half way thru the game. And oh, trust me, today's save looks more flattering than im actually capable of. I'm possibly the 4th worst GK after Kang, Abu and Mike. That 2 GK skills...lets just say most of the time it made most of us laugh tho we're serious when we play.

But lets do it now.

1. oldman - Kang, the thin dude that talks more than he plays
2. miketee - Your midfield partner
3. Naz81 - Barrel chested huge guy that looks like chinese with thin eyes
4. khai friend 1 - Played as GK after me
5. khai friend 2 - Wearing France blue jersey playing right back
6. jtxcool
7. WK Wong - Tall chinese dude playing left back, wearing long pants
8. sthon - The oldest among all of us, with Rooney hairstyle.
9. jonno - Scorer of our second goal, guy with Liverpool tattoo on his arm
10. allan - Gangster looking striker, guy who sprints like Walcott.
11. adrian - One of the short guy playing centreback
12. khai - The guy who doesn't smile and looks damn lansi
13. aw13 - Needs no intro, the only person to ever receive a yellow card.
14. giotto
15. faisael - Wearing Inter jersey that can dribble and hold the ball whole day long.
16. ronald - Scorer of the first goal.
17. Pono friend - Chinese dude that plays wing. Dont know him well.
18. pono - The rhino that literally ran like Bolt on left this morning.

giotto was hogging the middle lane? damn

when i passed there about 11.30, 2 patrol cars were "camping" at the roadside but they haven't put up the cones yet. probably just setup

awie, we all know that u take game very seriously and it's a positive attitude but since this is just a friendly a "sorry" (even though it wasn't your fault) would have sufficed to cool things down very effectively. i don't think it will make u look sissy in the eyes of your teammates.  laugh.gif
adrian or his nick berserk is a damn good CB. with his experience in the social league i'm not surprised that our strike force would hit a wall. the team manager should put me as a striker lah but there were too many players who couldn't fit into other positions. and these are blardy futsal players. they've not played offside for many years or probably none in their life.
so no futsal this monday?

Haha, i normally don't follow the speed limit too but for some reason, i drove very slow in that stretch yesterday and besides, i've heard of speed traps over there too.

But yeah waile, i agree with you that we should apologise to cool things down even tho it was a 50-50 challenge coz its a friendly game. Nobody will always be right in a physical game of football, so you take some knocks and you give some knocks too. Important is not to let things boil over.

Having said that, your friends had to take some responsible over the outburst too. As i said lor, football will get physical and having seen Jonno's incident where he accidentally elbowed the guy on the chest when both went for the same ball, i thought that was very unnecessary coz its not even a foul, just a coming together. The second incident was abit hard on the Indian guy, i saw the incident clearly right in front of me. Awie blocked his path and he tripped and rolled over. Thats a foul for sure but there was no need for him to run his mouth coz he got the freekick. Very unnecessary as well but i think they're probably not used to the football physical play which normally is abit rougher than futsal.

But don't worry la, we won't let this 2 incident stop us from having another game with you guys again. Let me know if you wanna play again sometime soon. And in 2 weeks, we'd probably be having another football game in GIS with another team. This time, we need you back in our team, the old trusty CB, like Maldini. But warm up before you get 3kg pangsai cramps again.

If we dont have the number, then most likely we're looking at CFC, the team that you love most.

If you guys wanna do some football training, we could possibly arrange too, at USJ 1 desert field. To be brutally honest, there are some of us that is lacking the most basic skill of stopping and passing the ball. Maybe due to the fact that we're so used to stopping the ball futsal style so misjudging the bounce of the ball is also another issue. Some training would help in preparing for the next friendly.

James,
I think so far only me, awie, John and yourself expressed interest to do some basic stuff like passing, stopping and basically just do a light training. I doubt it'll happen but if you guys are interested, we can work out something

Alvin,
Why giving up your one and only chance to watch Liverpool in action? Work comes later, Liverpool first!

CJ,
I don't think the game will happen at this point. There's far too little people.

CFC didnt get back to us on the futsal game, so we don't have an opponent today. Besides, we're down on numbers now.

As for the GIS football, MyRawk says they're not free next Saturday as they already have a prior match arranged. So 8th August is another alternative but subject to them agreeing.

On the other hand, waile's cheongster forum wants a grudge game on the 29th August. Apparently they've found some teenage prodigy that they wanna unleash on the 29th and looking forward to it. We're also gonna unleash our secret weapon by then. Stay tune.

Balak,
Are you high on something? Since when Mike Tee appeared in newspaper and we don't know it? Show us proof. Haha. Anyways, he's like our Cristiano Ronaldo, leading a celebrity lifestyle with the rich and famous while often being seen partying with stars. This weekend, i heard he's in Singapore mingling with some Liverpool stars.

Im different. I'm more of a quiet person. Preferring to lead a simple life. As i said before, i wake up early on a Sunday morning, have my cup of English tea, read some papers while munching my toast, sitting outside my house enjoying the cool morning breze and i enjoy reading books for the rest of the Sunday.

Balak,
That is small article only la, not worth mentioning. If its not in the headlines, its not worth even talking about it.

So when are you coming down to play with us again? We're thinking of playing next Saturday in the GIS. You'll love this pitch, trust me. Its worth making the 2 hours trip down to KL just for this game. Ask Unker Waile, he nearly couldn't shit just by looking at the pitch. And he's willing to travel from Kulim to KL just to play there.

Unker,
Thats not very man of you to be publicly afraid of your wife. Be a man. You shouldn't be afraid to stand up and be proud that you cheong.

Everyone should loudly and proudly admit they cheong, starting with you Unker. Come on!
