I always say to my friends.. fx is serious business... if you have no knowledge, experience, teacher or mentor.. dont do it... good luck..
I learn from a teacher in Shah Alam.. only met him once but thats all I need.. (for now), beside I have experience in futures and stocks, lesson well learned..

youre right, dont expect with USD100 one can make USD50 or even USD5 per day everyday.. its a norm you only risk 2% of your total margin (if you did read any books on mm=money management). to advise someone to play the market would be like advising someone do a bungee jump from a high rise building with advise via text. you can read books and have some knowledge.. but in the end its like riding a bicycle for the first time.. you cant learn it with reading and advise only.. you will fall a few times.. the troble is small margin dont go far.. big margin only hits hard on you emotionally (traumatize) when you lose all, just to learn..

regards to MM, with good MM it is possible to do blind trading (without indicator) but your result will be inconsistent..probably 50% or less win vs lose, with technical indicators or fundamentals you will increase the chances from 50% to something higher.. dont ever complicate your self to a full screen of indicator.. you only need a few for entry and exit. Some people here may be consistently making pips.. probably after 3 or 4 times crying in front of the computer losing everthing.. or after 5 to 6 expensive course or teacher to get to where there are.. so you might understand why they reluctant to give ya the answer to everything.. plus the reason above "bungee jump".

well i cant comment on it, I almost went for the class.. but i realize that I dont need to know everything to trade.. just the important things to survive and make a living..

there is alot of keys to success... unfortunately failure too.. you only need to find 1 successful key.. Money management should be no 1 on your list, above technical or fundamental indicators.. whats MM you say? well, seek and you shall find.. failure to have a superb solid MM, what ever you build will crumble in time..

Psychology is important too.. im a fan of van tharp books since I first pick up his book back in 1994.. but I still say with good Money Management..the power of psychology over you fades away...

I agree, pick a simple method of mm, time frame, entry, sl or ts, tp. and youre set for a learning curve of understanding thy self reaction/emotion againts your own trading plan.. its best to have a dairy on every trade.. what motivates you to take that position, why you choose that certain volume, whats your exit strategy, whats the outcome, what will you do differently and what have you learn from that trade. Remember a short pencil is better than a long memory...

Percentage of winning? well this doesnt really tell you anything except you need to back test your strategy and your executions, 100 loss: 10 win doest mean bad.. probably 100 trades cut early and the 10 are let to gain and still come out profitable, or 100 trades with .01 size while the 10 with $10 size.. and still comes out profit even if the account shows 100loss:10wins or better yet from my trading experience negative pips gives profit....its true.. some may not understand this.. learn..
d. Estimate the net amount of your profit / loss since day one of your trading. 80% and growing

lol... thats what happen when everyone thinks theres so much $ in forex when in reality a small % of people makes money in this business and mr.G dont get their cut.. I guess migrate wont be an option.. but theres always way in the cyber world.. In coming foreign exchange is always good for the country.. hopefully no drastic measure by the "G"
