1:500 gives ya alot of leverage... you can open more position... compare to 1:100 on open position.. Depends on your trading strategy.. some need leverage.. some dont.. mine does.. with the right tools... leverage is your friend..
Its true that the "risk" is in the "lot sizing".. you get margin call quickly if you put $50 vs 0.50cent...
Trade carefully

volume size.. well.. I guess its my trading style that makes it less risky.. cause I will need that leverage to run my trading strategy.. I guess thats where the difference is.. 2% in lot sizing and 1:500 is for leveraging my multiple planned buy/sell position with buy/sell pending order exponentially add on lot size... with steps running to 6 or more elaborate positions.. that will give + pips no matter up or down... Sorry for the trouble.. and my ignorant.. I forgot about it.. cause I took my sifu word without understanding what he meant by that (less risky with 1:500) I guess its risky for thouse who dont use leverage apart of their trading strategy.. *ill edit my post up there so that it wont confuse new comer*

for god sake isnt this a public forum where you suppose to leech all the info you can get (Enter Keywords) ? wannabies yes everyone wants to be a millionaire.. we have to start some where why not start here.. besides fx is one of the last few places where with small sum of money you "can" grew it to be millions... not like futures your lost can be unlimited.. here is just limited to your margin which is safer..... plus its their money.. they lose it,... they learn from it or die.. isnt that in the disclaimer of the trading account.. this is a very high risk investment.. better than giving it to the local "boiler room"... atleast you get your hands dirty and you learn if you have the stamina and money to go on...who knows you might be the next gorge soros.. dream on.. and continue dreaming or take action..
