bad news and good news again.
bad news.
the mother is still eating the babies. i have removed 5 of the babies and put them as instructed in a link posted here before about care for 1 instar scorpions. hope it will work.
good news. the other female is giving birth nicely and doesn't show any signs of stress at the moment. the last time i counted she had 6 babies on her back.

exactly like that. i only need to find what is the best design for the trap. and make a lot of it.
then i will put all over an area of about 10 acres. and i hope even thou this is still a concept it will work.
the desgin that i have in mind is something like a roach trap.

EUREKA!!!
now i know that i'm not the cause of the mother to be so stressed out and eat her babies.
it was fly maggots. really small fly maggots. they were underneath her and between her legs so i didn;t see them until last night.
i have transfered all of her babies into a container and i hope they will be strong enough to molt to 2instar without her.
i have removed all of the maggots from her. i saw about 5 on her. some were really small.
after i have clean her, she is not that aggresive at all. all the time she just sat at the palm of my hand and allowed me to clean her.
since all of her babies are not with her i have introduce her to the communal tank. and i can say that she is doing well.
it is a very weird feeling that a creature that is almost feared everywhere can be so docile.

pictars of the newly born scorpling from the second female. i counted 16 in this photo.this is the second day of the birth. note the meal worm who got tired of waiting to be eaten up hence he decided to pupea. * as you can see the soil is a bit dry. should i wet it or not. humidity is 80%. only the soil is dry. whats left of the poor scorpling from the first female who keep eating them up. it is day 2 after seperation and it seems they are doing well. still alive and active.

water dish for the mother is it lester?
it is the white round thing with bits of brown stuff inside.
she sumtimes takes a dip in it. so thats why it has traces of substrates in it.

day 3 of birthing process.
the second female has retreated in to her burrow. it is safe to say that the process is over.
day 3 of 1 instar seperation. the scorplings are clumping together just as they would on the mother's back. i don't know if this is a good sign or bad.

QUOTE(Merrinette @ Jul 23 2009, 12:00 AM) Hello people I hv some problem here.. My bf and I went back to our hometown.. so the scorpions were passed to my friend to take care of them temporarily.. And he told me that they're not eating..for a month @.@ Their food is mealworm.. I also worry another thing.. he told me that he only spray/wet the tank once daily and clean the water bowl few days once.. Sigh.. anyone can help...? I'm worry that they will die if still like this.. we need some pictures or id on the scorpions. then it is easier to tell you what to do.

keep them in a room which temperature doesn't go above 22 degrees Celsius
they will be drowsy and don;t even bother to fight.

well it is 1 week from the birth and 2 day of seperation.
they are still alive and moving around a bit.
the last 1 that i put was actually buried in the substrate and i'm happy to report it is still alive.

it all started when the mother gave birth in the parcel during shipping. i transfered her to the enclosure and made sure she wasn't unnecessarily stressed to prevent her from eating her babies.
but she keep on eating them and then 1 day she went berserker.started to run around the enclosure and as a result a this lot u see here was thrown off her.
i pick them all out and checked the enclosure for any more that might be left behind and found 1 buried in the substrate.
the cause of the berserker mode was maggots which i found after a close examinationof the mother. a total of 4 have been removed.
the mother is doing well after the removal but she refuses the babies.
i had no choice but to try the technique that was posted by Ryo if i'm not mistaken.
all we can do is pray and hope the babies will survive.
i hope this condensation of what have happened is to your liking.
