But the enclosure looks good for arboreal scorpion. EG: Tityus

yes.. tityus and centruroids should be ok in that type of enclosure..

Those in my siggy is my top favourite, i do have other wishlist but they are easier to acquire so i din include in siggy
Regarding the stinnger nola, every scorp have only 1stinger with 1venom gland
If those are stinger mean the 2 tail segment got venom gland

Uroplectes formosus never heard of it.. untill u came along.. nice color but that specialty is awesome.. i dont think we can get it.. if do ur one of the luckies man alive...

A question,why after mating,female scorp tend to cannibalise male scorp?

as far as i know only some are.. there is a theory y the female eats the male.. but i'll let the pros answer to this question..

Not all yet...apply vaseline on the upper part.As for the lower part will try other way.

you cn feed her but make sure there is no vaseline or alcohol on its pincers and chelea... (or mouths) dont want it to eat those chemicals now would ya? if she does want to eat that is... got pic of her?

Added on July 14, 2009, 1:56 amthe theory is that the male let them self be eaten to spread its genes and hoping that the female have stronger broods. Hoping that she rejects other males. well these applies to spiders but some say same with scorpions..

Wow...my 1st time to see such scorpions,really beautiful

But the mites is between the pincer,the whitish spot there and i dun think she can clear dat part off.
Still,i think i can feed her cos the place dat i applied vaseline hav a distance to where she always use to grab things.
