wdtv gen-2 can decode dts, comes with ethernet port but not wireless tho'. probably much cheaper than dvico.

Yeah I think it was posted a couple of pages back. Just not interested in mkv anymore, sick of transferring, downloading, copying. And my HM just bought me a beautiful cabinet. Need to fill it up with BD first.

Just tested another mkv file without audio support,checked the media info and the audio is vorbis 48000khz 2 channel why izit that vorbis file is nt supported in my wdtv as i see on the box that ogg file is supported is OGG and vorbis nt same?

So far I've only came across Perhaps Love HD MKV, that is with 96/24 DTS.
Clarity is clearly better than regular DTS on the same crappy AVR system I have.
Not sure why so difficult to find a 96/24 sources when so manyare in DTS/MA

Talking abt 3.5inch HDD, it is always hot...its design to work in that temperature.

But most of the time, for media players, most ppl use WD Green HDD. The temperature is much lower and power savings.
Although the speed is slower than Blue or Black WD version...it is fast enough for media player usage.

I'm using a server class 1tb can only achieve abt 5~7MB/Sec using the Vantec Docker through USB.
My WD hdd also same abt that speed...are my settings wrong?...help...

my laptop cannot do direct sata connection...fastest is the 1394 ports..never mind...I'll live with the slow speed
