5800. Owned for 1 week. Extremely satisfied. Best bang for buck phone and way cheaper than Samsung.

5800 Pros:
- Cheaper than Samsung by what..RM600? (Ori machine)
- 5800 is smartphone, runs Symbian OS. Samsung Jet is NOT a smartphone, still using propriatery O/S, no apps.
- 5800 can runs Garmin(free, no need to pay)...i drove to Seremban makan-makan with the GPS yesterday. Jet cannot runs Garmin (maybe Google Maps, which needs to pay).
- Superb web browsing experience.
- Beautiful LCD screen.(But samsung's one is nice too)


Basically, if you can tell me another touchscreen phone with WIFI, GPS, Symbian O/S for RM 1050 for original machine, i'll buy another one!

1. Brand = any brand.
2. Budget = no budget.
3. Specs = stylish(most important), able to browse internet, long battery life.
4. Type/Size = not too small, not too bulky. just medium sized. prefer not flip and qwerty.

mind that garmin license is expensive..RM 300++
but still worth

samsung jets is okay for simple user who dont mind about the OS..
the camera also better than 5800...

but to the advance user.. 5800XM is better than samsung S8000 jets..

Currently I'm only considering C905 or N86... Any other recommendations?

And also... do u guys roughyly know how much is an AP or original set of C905/N86 in the market right now? Afraid i kena slaughter wif high price swt...

Everything stated there saying go for nokia 5800.
no doubt about it.

W995 is for music and simple lover
because W995 is just use standard OS..so for advanced user... this phone will be bored..
but the best part of this phone is the speaker and camera quality...

N86 is for entertainment and symbian lover..
with Symbian OS... the Symbian lover will go for this phone..
all Nseries features such as - Ngage,office apps,etc.. will make the user of this phone enjoy and wont boring..

with 8mp camera with variable aperture.. the quality of the photo are better and maybe the best among the phone that listed..
AMOLED screen also is brilliant..

Samsung Jet is beautiful phone
it is just for simple user. who like beautiful phone.. this phone has no advance feature..
the camera quality also good but not the best.. all i can say that. this phone is just good...
the best part of this phone is the screen.. it use AMOLED screen..brilliant !!

Samsung Omnia 2
with Windows Mobile.. this phone will not as bored as W995 and Samsung Jet..
for the WM lover.. they will know how to use this phone ..
with the WM software.. the user able to explore the Omnia 2 with various software..
the best part of this phone is the processor and the OS ..
with the best processor among the phone that listed.. this phone will not be laggy.. but powerful..

Now that I've narrowed down my choices, it gets harder... I'm down to:

Samsung I8910 HD
- Awesome camera & features
- I like the sensitive touchscreen & colors

Just d only worry is that whether I'll be able to dload symbian apps from the web and not just from the Samsung store...

Nokia N97
- Nice looks
- Feels solid

Just dat the interface is a lil dull...

Iphone
- Looks chic (well it's an Iphone)
- Lotsa apps

Just wondering whether the usage will feel restricted in the long term...

Obviously the Omnia HD beats all of them flat.Probably the best multimedia phone of the current age...
But bear in mind, the video recording has quite poor framerates as in frame drops and skips

I think it shouldn't be a problem to dl apps from the web since i always do that for my 5800XM

Go for the i8910 as a lot of us here can just dream of owning one
