I'm seriously considering the Samsung Ultra Touch. What's the price for it now? How about the accessories e.g protector
But many said that it is slow. I don't care about it not having WiFi. But from reviews, it took good pictures.
What about Samsung Jet? I know the price is over my budget but how does it compare to the Ultra Touch?
Omnia HD is probably the best 8mp shooter currently

The image quality the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD produces is pretty much as good as we have seen on a mobile phone. The color rendering is spot-on, contrast and dynamic range are also great. Fine detail is also very good although if anything could be improved - that's exactly it. In comparison to the Sasmung i8510 INNOV8 one can notice that the INNOV9 delivers more detail in the center of the frame than the Omnia HD. The touchscreen handset however strikes back with better corner sharpness. That difference in the sharpness of the two is probably due to the differences in the lenses used.
The colors of the photos, taken with the INNOV8, are more saturated than those of the Omnia HD. We did mention that when you browse the photos on the Omnia they are automatically boosted to look more appealing but when downloaded to a computer they retain their original "natural" looks and feel. This gives you more options for post processing but if you aren't into that the results might not look as good as the INNOV8 to you. We guess you can increase the saturation and contrast in camera to achieve similar results - the settings are all there for you to tweak.
Certainly the best part about the Omnia HD camera (and the INNOV8 but we have already discussed that) is there are no major flows of any kind. No traces of oversharpening, no lack of contrast and no excessive noise. Plus, getting the exposure right at all times makes sure most of the photos are keepers.
Just wondering whether the usage will feel restricted in the long term...
Any views and help guys?
Obviously the Omnia HD beats all of them flat.Probably the best multimedia phone of the current age... But bear in mind, the video recording has quite poor framerates as in frame drops and skips
I think it shouldn't be a problem to dl apps from the web since i always do that for my 5800XM
Go for the i8910 as a lot of us here can just dream of owning one
My father said that OMNIA II isnt that good, so he said it is not worth buying it So I am looking for another phone... (except N97 and OMNIA II)
Brand: Nokia, SE, LG, Samsung, Motorola Budget: 1000-2500 Type: Touchscreen/Clam/Smartphone
I listen to music a lot and like to take good picture (good camera). I would like something slim, but with wide screen. Good internet browser would be a plus. ^^
And where can I find original, new IPhone? I only found it in maxis store, and you need to use maxis if you want the IPhone... Is there any other store that sells it other than maxis store?
HTC HD2 is uber pretty. I dont know if I want to wait that long though. And it will be too expensive... then I need to kumpul money some more.. aisshhh. By the time it came out, another great phone will catch my eyes....LOL
I've had my Sony Ericsson K850i for almost 2 years now and it's finally dying on me (THANK GOD). Because this phone is crap right from the moment I opened it. The phone lags, it lags even more searching for name on the phonebook, it freezes and it turns off itself. I've had K750, same problem..turns off itself. Is it me or is it Sony Ericsson?
1. Brand : Any 2. Budget: None 3. Specs: Touchscreen and keyboard (very important, cause I have fat fingers and I text a lot), Wifi, good camera, huge screen, smooth, good quality pictures so I can present my work (must have that sliding function iPhone has but as smooth)..Something fun and I can use it for work/school 4. Type/Size: Any
I'm eyeing on the N97 Mini, Sony Ericsson Aino, Palm Pre, Nokia E72 or something from HTC
If that's the case, not too sure about Nokia's earlier lineup but for SE I guess the dinosaurs (though solid and revolutionary) like W800, W810 and W900 still serve your purpose then
Not to mention,K750i was 'the phone' those days until K800i came into the picture
Hi im looking foward to buy a HTC phone but i dont really know how to choose when comes to HP OS either android or window mobile better bcoz they said android the newest OS and the faster also userfriendly but window mobile more office work like that..any recommendation pls..
1. Brand - HTC HERO or TOUCH PRO 2 or DIAMOND 2 2. Budget - not important 3. Specs - Android or window Mobile which one better 4. Type/Size - not important
IMO, Android is more user friendly as it uses capcavative screen technology and its overall more finger friendly.( BTW : WinMo and Windows Mobile are one and the same )
Incorrect because capacitative tech does not depend on OS unlike the 65k colour abysmal which the WinMo suffers from
In fact, HD2 and some other phones support capacitative tech such as HD2,Omnia HD,Omnia 2,Iphone,etc to name a few
