OMFG, I've been reading on Sanwa & Seimitsu parts and i'm not sure which 1 to get already.

Could u guyz share ur experience?
*
I've touched both brands of buttons and the comparisons isn't that much, Sanwa has a more sensitive feel compared to Seimitsu. If you the kind of person who likes to hit the buttons a little harder, then Seimitsu would be your choice. However, Sanwa would be prefered if your handling on lots of tapping methods. So its all on user preference, I for one prefer Sanwa compared to Seimitsu thumbup.gif

Can someone pls tell me if there's a cheat code to break all the challenge modes? I am so frustrated and stuck at level 10 in time attack, survival attack...and for trial mode, I stuck at level 3 at all my characters becos I don't know how to combine all the combo moves... mad.gif Feel like throwing the games already!
*
Easiest way to clear all the Time & Survival Trials is by using Zangief and you use Lariat ALL THE WAY. The AI rather dumb dunno how to fight back, not unless their Revenge Meter is on and do Ultra randomly biggrin.gif

For the Normal or Hard Trials, you just have to keep doind and doing untill you hear "SUCCESS" come out. But some Trials got methods to clear it. Better state which ones your having problems and we may be able to help.

Anyone here played onestopbrother before? His sagat is so good that I felt demoralised, any non-top tier characters would appear hopelessly weak sad.gif in my case. Can't even win one round unless using balrog.
*
I played him before dude, dun be discouraged. I also sometimes hard to win him but there were times I did, his execution is good but a turtling gameplay always gets me impatient biggrin.gif

Thats why Sagat is Top Tier in SF4, if you put a mirror match between 2 players with Sagat, you can tell who has a better knowledge of the game when 1 person wins sad.gif

Rumours of Sagat and Zangief being nerfed on the next patch was spreading but I dun see it coming so soon. Once they get nerfed, Ryu will be Top Tier and everyones using him now biggrin.gif

@Juzjoe

I believe you may have a lack of knowledge for the game because, no real life sparring partner for you to discuss together. I myself wont be able to learn much without a discussion with anyone on what should or should not do when going against my opponent. Having a discussion will work wonders to improove your gameplay. Maybe you should head on over to Outpost and meet up with the gathering over there when its on thumbup.gif

^Too many setups, but damage is not so painful. You still got some chance for a comeback. Sagat on the other hand once get hit, you'll cry from the pain biggrin.gif

translation of;

qcb, ub + KK, qcb, uf + K, cHP, cMK, qcf + HK

English:
quarter circle back, up back + KK, quarter circle back, up front + K, crouching HP, crouching MK, quarter circle forward + HK

Dustloop:

789
456 Follow the numpad on your keyboard and imagine your directions with the stick or pad on the 1st player side
123 (Or facing from left to right)

2147 + KK, 2149 + K, 2HP, 2MK, 236 + HK

Hope that helps

^ In addition to some rather simpler comboes and tactics, learning the instant Air Spike can help being on the agressive side of Cammy. But you'll pay dearly if a mistake happens. ie jump forward for no reason and getting punish after that biggrin.gif Also the move qcf,uf+PP followed by LP+LK (forgot whats it called tongue.gif) can be a good surprise for projectile users. The EX version will, if I'm not mistaken, fly to your opponent even though his a full screen away.

cLK, cLP, cLK, qcf + HK, (qcfx2 + HK)
sHP, dp + HK, FADC, dp + HK

1st combo doesn't dish out a lot of damage but it works well after a jump in and people keep on blocking up. Situations like a repeat Instant Air Spike tends to make your opponent do that. Good example is like Rufus's df+MK in the air move. The Super Cancel is optional if you just wanna deal a little more damage.

2nd combo is consider simple, only the FADC (Focus Attack Dash Cancel) needs a little practice. But this combo dishes out rather high damage for less usage of the Super Meter/Gauge. Nothing fancy but gives out good damage.

____

All I can say about those fancy comboes dude are, practice practice and more practice. Findout for yourself to how you like to play Cammy, "Rome wasn't built in a day" biggrin.gif Tips and strategies can be taught, but reaction and game plans needs all the experience and practice you can get happy.gif

These rules, gives a very big high for that tourney. I think Daigo also will have problems to memorize these happy.gif

Question on the penalty for air juggling/combo in the air, does the penalty includes not using snake strike or Shoryuken also? Cause both also got a jump animation tongue.gif

QUOTE(Quistreous @ Aug 5, 05:53 PM )
Why don't we have this sort of raffle system where we draw out random character names from a box? You have to use whoever you get. Its literary like playing random but you get to know who you have to use slightly earlier than the character selection screen. Haha!

Sam-sam's suggestion is quite nice:

Instead of drawing out random characters names, why don't we draw out random rules instead?

For example:

Cannot jump
Cannot use F.A.
Cannot use light punch

Its just simple rules but its a pretty interesting idea. Sort of like a handicap for both parties.
These rules also sounds interesting, gives a person more reasons to touch on every characters in the game smile.gif

QUOTE(hatred___ Aug 5 @ 06:22 PM)

Ideas are flowing in. Good. Good. But must think of the penalty or punishment for those who place low in the tourney. Eating a chunk of wasabi or something like that?
How about helping to clean the hosts place for all the garbage everyone made in that gathering happy.gif

Phyurix!

My backside was so itchy I went to get a HRAP3. Again! Lol! Just got the mod done last night by rawfish and so damn happy with it. I think I'm one of the first few (if not the only) HRAP3 with Full Seimitsu parts. PS-14-KN for the buttons and LS-56-01 for the stick together with plexi glass and custom artwork! So damn happy.

And speaking of which, I've played almost everyone except you. And hearing so much of your game play. When come down to KL again? Mari lah, bah! Kita main sama-sama!

P/S: The penalty not cruel enough! Everyone SHOULD help to clean up after the games.
*
Lolz, we always been the HRAP3 brothers la, just that I was a successor and you suddenly became the creator tongue.gif

Yea man, should have went over to Freddy's place a while and spar for fun that time. But time wasn't on our side happy.gif next trip..errrr....need to ask my financial planner and also to keep the cases in KK on hold. My job can't really give me any time to get a nice long holiday like that time cry.gif

Even now I wanna play but need to clear up work har har har cheers.gif

P/S: I tried modding my stick with Seimitsu also, had a stock used from hanz079 and its still in my hands for spare if my current buttons fail. Its rather cool but feels more harder compared to Sanwa. Don't think I can play well using Gen with those sweat.gif
___________

Quist,

You shouldn't belittle yourself, being a person who is curious enough to understand the game already is a plus side of being a SF player. Give more time and practice you'll sure be able to open a can of whoop ass to everyone there. Especially hatred____, *Psst, I hear his skills not so good, so you can target him 1st wink wink* ahem ahem blame BigMac ya tongue.gif

Phyurix,

Don't worry, there'll always be a chance to play you one. Normally when I crash mikeeee or keenkeen's place, I'll be busy playing them. No PSN. Lol! Need all the hours I can get for training. Otherwise no chance to play at all, except with my imaginary PS3 with 3498572086 inch LCD and HRAP 3.

*
Hehe, yea one of these days will be able to play ya. For now, off to training mode learn more chars brows.gif

Hi phyurix,

That rapid slap combo you are doing, how many button must you press per second? 4 or 5? I can't imagine anyone doing 5 button per second everytime without miss, can even combo smile.gif

Anyway it took me a dozen loses to realize I can use headbutt, really slow there.
*
Lolz, dude I also actually forgot about it until you start using it. Then started to be more careful on jumping ins biggrin.gif

Yea man, rapid moves needs 5 taps of the button to execute. So you can imagine how stressed my hands can be playing Gen smile.gif
Let you in on the secret, I slide my fingers from HP~LP~HP to execute it. Had to get my hands oily to do it biggrin.gif Of course using a stick with Sanwa buttons, Seimitsu buttons a little bit harder so it kinda hurts the fingers more. Seen people use the technique using those pool gloves to help the fingers, wonder how much to invest on it happy.gif

Pool glove are cheap, but house cooking oil is even cheaper smile.gif just dun spoil your buttons. My hori buttons are hard as hell so no way I can try that. Imagine if you use this method on E-Honda's hp HHS, very terrifying, hope I am not the one fighting it.
*
Oh My God dude!! If you didn't mention it I also havn't tried it out. And it works damn fine!!! biggrin.gif
Maybe next time when we have a game I'll let you have a taste tongue.gif
But dude, which Hori stick your using? HRAP3? If you are then were using the same ones but mines modded to Sanwa happy.gif
I would recommend you get some buttons and mod your sticks, think of that sliding technique and you'll be doing wonders for Honda thumbup.gif

P/S: I'm actually trying to see how durable my buttons can be blush.gif wanna at least predict how long those buttons will last until replacement is needed biggrin.gif

I prefer to fight without using too much finger strength, my thin fingers will wear out before my buttons got torn apart, with or without oil. Since house cooking oil is not corrosive it might actually works for you, but I can't guarantee.

Button wise, I can't see how sanwa buttons could make my game better since I am not using gen or honda now, doing fine linking jab. So not gonna spend the money. Also scared once I spent the money but still keep losing, no more excuse smile.gif
*
Honestly, all the more reason you should get the buttons. Cause their so fine they'll blow your mind tongue.gif

Jokes aside, the Sanwa Buttons are actually has a very soft and sensitive feel. Not much strength is needed to press them. Its not that your suppose to be the best with them, its just something that could help you get a better gameplay. Who knows that your links could get even more accurate compared to now smile.gif Its a nice investment if your planning to play more, less strain on your hands (not unless your playing like me with Gen, sliding method wears out the muscles tongue.gif).

@leongteng5

Jangan panas ah bro, Dan mirror match was something really funny and unexpected we played lastly. Although you kena tipu terang terang at the last round tongue.gif blush.gif bruce.gif rclxs0.gif

I always let dan's super taunt finish, for me that's the unwritten rule  laugh.gif

I'm starting to be a big fan of your Gen,man. Very entertaining to play with! I'm sure you're the only one I met online that can use Gen like that. mk>hp(tap)>mk>hp(tap). Beautiful.
*
Hehe, very nice ya? Actually, my play style was a copy from Yeb a Xbox player from the US. He show cased his Gen in the recent EVO but I can't find that video already. Try search him to see a more amazing Gen player, to be honest I think I'm only like 30% or less from his gameplays cry.gif
