I dun wan to sound like a smart ass but, try out the Normal & Hard Trials in challenge mode.

Basics, Intermediate, Advance and Expert tutorials are all there. Although to clear the Hard Trials is actually, HARD, but its a challenge you can try to acomplish for new players. If need tips we can advise but not la to list out everything in the Trial modes. If you still need that, check up in youtube.com a lot of people posted up the Trials there.

^ added tricks for blanka you can try to learn. LP vertical roll and when it misses, grab.

when i play with you, u always c.mk to Ultra hoping i get trigger happy. Getting too predictable. grab sometimes when ur that close to me. also, try to learn to use charge using down away direction. works to charge both horizontal and vertical rolls.

KKK can be useful to surprise the opponents, some of blankas pokes can follow with KKK. Most that i find out were c.MK and s.LP. Can do some good mixups for Blanka.

Advance tip, when using bite grab or after a c.hk. Execute the Ultra a little slowly and the Ultra may crossup ur opponent. This you can practice la, very usefull trick for a VERY high damaging Ultra

^Doing it with a pad is easy, you could use down forward direction for the KKK to move forward. Same for down away direction to move back, forgot to mention that

Well, thats his luck la if he can't win those on console chars. But I think they wont allow console chars in competition like that time when Daigo, Poongko and Iyo went there. We'll just have to wait and see

pweic: I can't do the c.LP - HHS HP consistently but I did find a method that helps out using the piano method (unless you didn't know how it was done). I think you saw me do it sometimes This is what I did;

c.LK(LP~MP~HP) - c.LP~HP (HHS will execute)

Explanation= Within the c.LK animation, piano LP to HP, c.LP will link then HHS will execute upon ~HP. As all the links in this game, timing is essential. So don't piano the buttons too fast or too slow. If I'm not mistaken, HHS will execute once you tap a punch button 5 times in 1 sec. It applies to all moves with rapid tapping I think, mikeeeee should know cause he linked the Chun Li's move very well

leongteng: Lolz, good suggestion on the championship mode dude. Get's some people excited for the game. I would suggest that if its possible, we make Saturdays or Sundays every week to play around in Championship Mode. Maybe say 4pm till dunno what time Whichever time you think theres people joining, I even won a championship winning the same guy from 1st match till the final

I'm not too sure about footsies, but I have seen some Jap matches on Honda using that link. Thats how I found out about it and the guy was playing rather well. Got some good mixups too as you can FADC withing the HHS (if your doing the link flawlessly ). Also you can exchange the HHS to the command throw if they anticipate for HHS. Or a c.MK - Headbutt, just a few things you could mix it up

Well, averagely a HRAP3 would go for RM300-350 range nowadays. To mod it is cheap cause the stick is actually from Sanwa, only the buttons need to change. I remember hanz079 sold a few sets of the buttons before, around RM150 max for 8 buttons and 1 balltop

So we count on a max budget;

HRAP3 RM350 + Sanwa Buttons RM150 = RM500 a maximum

Well, tapping from H~L is always easier, dunno why its just the the hands motion from pinky to index finger is smooth. Just going the other way round a bit difficult

I honestly think this "Pad vs Stick" discussion will be never ending. To put things simpler, everyone has their prefered choice of controlers for a fighting game. Plus, its the passion that drives us in this genre of gaming. I for one grew up with sticks on fighting games so if I were to use pads, I'll feel a bit weird. Although initially, I was comfortable using pads on the early days but I had more fun playing using a stick.

Take leongteng as example, his a pad warrior but he has a good amount of experience using Zangief. I'm sure he'll be able to play well still even when his using a stick. Or I may be wrong

So far, havn't got much problems connecting with everyone here. Except for a few guys, but overall didn't get much trouble with the connection locally. Internationally would be a nightmare
