I just owned Asus N50vn..quite satisfied..
but unfortunately, Need for speed undercover only can play medium Graphic..

Yes, it only been lock down by 5 screw, and I only use one now to easily remove it, but still secure enough and not flimsy. I don't know any other way to cool it down without taking the back cover, even using notebook cooler have minimal effect.

watching dvd - around 70+
gaming - around 80+

and btw will a zalman instead of a generic china cooler help cool it down?

How long does asus provide for a netbook?
some say 1 year local warranty, some say 1 year international warranty, and my friend say 2 year international warranty.. make me blur doh.gif

Depends with the cooler itself...the fan is actually the main part of the cooler...so it will cooled the laptop down maybe around 5-9C..

EEEPC has different warranty policy...

warranty is provided by EEE, not Asus... EEE is separate brand under Asus...

can't remember how long it is, but afaik, it's definetely local warranty only...

finally, poisoned by cousin to buy K50Ab... laugh.gif HK$4580 (approx. RM2115) with Vista Home Basic and 4GB RAM, exact same spec as K40Ab but with 15.6" monitor...

Warranty for Asus Notebook is 2 years international warranty included parts and labours.
For Netbook,
Eee PC 701, 900, 901, 1000, 1002, 101 series, all 1 year local warranty.

Only for Eee PC 1008 comes with 1 year international warranty.
