if want to later game hving direct 11 or may be Diablo 3 need 1gb ram ^^

1G for GC card sound very new to me. even CAD design mostly still playing with 512 le~

lol, seriously...well even 512mb also more than enough =.=..it's gpu power than matters D:....(tech behind in and etc =.=)ooh, settings also @_@"...lucky i don't game on laptop xD...purely for studying and entertainment

now the only problem for me is that the notebook come with vista drivers. Anywhr i can source for Xp driver so I can stick it back with Xp?

1gb sorta...on high end gpu i guess :/...or rather some gpu utilize some of the system's available ram (dunno y o_O..happens on my 4850 @_@)

but seriously, it's totally overkill for a card like HD4650... 512MB is more than enuf...

look at the desktop cards... only HD4890. HD4870, GTX 285 and GTS 250 have 1GB...

lol with that comment >_>..but ur gpu power a bit mah, so it useful ...y bother with 1 or 2gb if the gpu is like...8400 ...so far, all the games i played work well with my card and does not even need better gc "..laptop can play high end games? spend at least 8-10k then >_>..confirm can.

it's totally different architecture, as it has to adapt to the way Cell functions... so can't really compare...

on the other hand, u can compare the one in XBOX360, which is by ATi... iirc, it's a prototype of R600 (aka HD 2900 series)

it's legendary @.@..monster gpu...2900XT cf in laptop o_O...nv seen those around :/

But hey, games on PS3 1080p don't lag at all right?That proves something...
