in my opinion,fergie will adapt to 442 for the start of next season.to me adding another cm will not be good for players that will need games to grow in our team such as andy. carrick is already a 1st teamer.only one place to fight for andy+fletch+scholes n even giggs. hargo lagi (if he heals faster than we expect) ;P
In my eyes for sure the other spot will not automatically be andy's. so if we do bought another cm,kesian la sama andy..lme2 jadi mcm tevez..rugi..haihz..for me not this season la,mayb 2010/11 where scholes and giggs MAYBE will not be as inflentual as recent season so other player can take their place
UNLESS fergie want to adapt with 433 like most of last season,then we need someone like yaya perhaps. but i dont see that coming. fergie just bought 2 wingers n that shows the 442 is more likely.rooney wont be on the wing this time around.there is 5 wingers at the club already excluding those who also can play as winger like rooney and welbeck

Is the rest of the French U21 squad just that average or is this guy really that good? I watched the first half (so far) of the U21 Friendly between England and France and there was really only one other guy (#10) who came close to impressing me as much as Obertan did (and to be honest a few stepovers and fired some shots over bar). Compared to Obertan nobody else seems to know what the hell they're doing. Almost feels like everyone knows that he's the one that gonna get things going.

Some may think that those plays in the Chile game above are simply isolated highlights to make the kid look good but from what I've seen so far from him in the match I'm watching, he's by far the best player on the entire squad and I don't think I'd be going too far in saying that we should probably get this kid into the team as quickly as we did with Ronaldo to see what he's got.

He's lacking the end product, much like Ron was early on, but he seems to be something of a maestro when it comes to getting around people. Where Alexis Sanchez would trip over the ball or just fire in a wild cross, Obertan is incredibly calm and composed and threads in some f***ing pinpoint passes.

Get him playing early.

Sir Alex need to beef up the midfield. Too lightweight, IMO.

Hopefully Owen's injury days are over. Really need someone of his calibre to perform. Cant just rely on the youngsters.

Sky Sports News understands Sunderland have agreed a fee with Manchester United for Fraizer Campbell.

United are thought to have accepted a bid in the region of £5million for Campbell as Steve Bruce looks to make the striker his first signing at the Stadium of Light.

Hull had been leading the chase for Campbell after agreeing a deal with United earlier this summer, but now Sunderland hope to beat their Premier League rivals to the 21-year-old.

Campbell spent most of last season on loan at Tottenham as a makeweight in the deal that took Dimitar Berbatov to Old Trafford.

Bruce has made striking reinforcements one of his top priorities on Wearside after deciding not to take up the option to sign Djbril Cisse on a permanent basis.

Campbell is now expected to travel to Sunderland to hold talks and undergo a medical ahead of a possible move to the Stadium of Light.

Bruce is also thought to be interested in signing Portsmouth's Peter Crouch and Tottenham's Darren Bent as he looks to bolster his squad for the start of the new season.

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has denied reports that Manchester United have made an offer for Sergio Aguero.

Argentine striker Aguero has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford as the Premier League champions look to increase their attacking options after losing Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.

Reports had claimed that United had offered £30million plus Portuguese winger Nani in an attempt to persuade Atletico to sell.

However, Cerezo has dismissed the latest bout of speculation and confirmed he had not received a bid from United for Aguero.

Cerezo also outlined his determination to keep hold of the club's key players after Barcelona acknowledged an interest in former Red Devils striker Diego Forlan.

"Manchester United has not made any offers for 'Kun' [Aguero] - and we will not sell any player," Cerezo told Marca.

"We will not sell Aguero, Forlan, Simao - because we don't want to sell any of our players.

"We will keep all of our players because we are very good as we are and we have a great team."
