our medical staff are definitely better than other clubs!! we can keep Owen fit and squeeze goals out of him.

Sir Alex FTW!

1) Motivation - He hasn't been motivated since he left Madrid, where he was still almost a goal a game. I hope competing for the BPL trophy will help motivate him again.

With near year is the World Cup year, I think there will no lack of motivation especially for Owen who want to prove to Capello that he can still be part of the squad flying to South Africa.

Owen can try ask Giggs how to maintain that high level of fitness even though our Giggs too had many injuries last time. That's might help Owen free from injury and play at high level even at the age of 30s

Owen becomes what he is today (injury prone) thanks to Liverpool...Liverpool squeeze every drop of his energy during his young days with pool. When young players play many games weeks in weeks out, they will tend to easily get injury or tired at the later stage of their career. U can see when Rooney with Everton, Moyes never played him week in week out..same to C.Ronaldo when he was with us when he was young..SAF never play him every game and he had time off too..that's what he become a world class player after 2, 3 years.

Owen played too much during his young days with pool and now he is at exhaustion stage plus Newcastle also playing him when he was not match fit, causing the exhaustion on his body accumulated more and more...

I believe SAF will know how to make good use of Owen.

SAF always liked Owen.. Now's the chance to sign him.. I would say he would be a decent signing.. 20 goals per season biggrin.gif

A big lumpsump of that will be used to sign new high-profile manager after SAF retires! And also to sign few players to replace Scholes and Giggsy, Neviller if needed for next next season! tongue.gif

Wow, you are kinda like blaming Managers for using players when they are young... We can look onto Arsenal. They play youth team week in week out. They never seems to be injury prone. IMO Owen injuries case because he often think about playing for England while he can. He can see how many games does he played for Newcastle over such long time.
