The autolock is worth it in my own opinion coz u wont always remember to lock the doors , as for voiding warranty its very subjective usually if the sc dont approve and u try to claim warranty they will ask u to take it out 1st, the device wont cause any harm and i have been using for a year with no problems and it's hidden.

yeap..agree..it improve ur safety also while driving....even more when u have small kids that is very naughty... brows.gif

Cantiknye that pic ~~~ That one is near the Kayu Aman Suria there ~~
Hehehe familiar place, everyday oso past by one ~

Jack Tai, answering to your query in previous thread, this car paint job i did is recommended by my Proton SA ~
He helped me to call this guy and all i have to is bring my car to the sales centre (kepong) then this guy will drive my car to the workshop in Batu Caves do all the painting nicely and then bring my car back the next day evening ~ To be frank i dun even know the shop name tongue.gif I just know that person's handphone and if cannot get him i'll ask my Proton SA's help to contact him ~

Jack, my car colour is also same as your's ~
Did twice edi with the same guy ~ Of course the price is lower coz is the Proton SA's contact and with some negotiation

1st time in Nov 08, did on whole 2 panels, which is the right back door panel and the rim area whole panel (you know the whole panel from the rim right up to above the windows to front), and knocking on the door area and some filled up -- 2 panels and knocking ==> RM 480

2nd time Feb 09, did on 3 panels, which is AGAIN right back door panel, the rim area whole panel and the whole bumper panel , including knocking on rim area which is more tedious, and some filled up etc , --3 panels ==> RM 600 (Initially was much higher but of course some negotiation and because he's my Proton SA's contact does helps too)

He did mentioned that actually the market price is RM 200 for a panel job and RM 250 for knocking (Cannot remember the 200 /250 is for which one edi, long time) - So..... if 3 panels and knocking means ~~~ RM 850++ but of course can always nego ~

This guy quite good i request for a small amount of paint for my future touch ups hehe ~~ So i got a small can ~~

So far i had touched up myself with cotton buds twice (smudgy)

Jack, if you that paint job guy's contact (i just know his shop in batu caves area), let me know, i can PM you ~ but you stay in cheras wor

Thanks for the information, anyway I think I gonna go to Yen Fatt Paint Shop to repaint. Gonna do it tomorrow, too bad really far away in old Subang airport side. But I believe their paint job quality are 1 of the best. May be I wanna have a small amount of paint then can touch up my self.

Hi guys, my question might be common question but just close your eyes and answer it, ok biggrin.gif

I'm looking to buy proton saga, choosing between granite grey, silver and white. there will be no modification to the car except to add tint and might be change sport rim. so it will be normal usage. what color is suitable?

Tq, TQ~

Yep, that is why I should decide by myself but still could not decide. I think granite grey would look more classy compared to silver. While white look more sporty but need a bit mod to the bodykit. Silver is natural color, maybe will be my last choice..

They quote me just spray the rear bumper around RM120. But haven't send to them to see it. But I trust their work, as they are specialist to paint for luxury car, sure no problem.

Like my parent car, repaint at the shop near my house, after few year the paint wear off, to ugly now. The origin paint still nice, but part which repaint wear off.

I sent mine to the proton workshop, then they are able to get the same colour from proton itself. Left of front bumper = RM150

For me most important is the quality of work and paint. I dun want later 2-3yrs the paint crack or anything, then need to repaint again.

It really depend on your right foot, and a good gear shifting. Mine is always around RM30 for 200km. Include every morning jam. If all highway, I think can reach around 220-230km.
