I applied last month. They stated the interest rate as 1% in my offer letter.

I think they will forfeit your PTPTN loan, as the one you applied is for TARC.

I have not gotten my 1% letter yet. sad.gif

Do any of you guys know how to find the 'No. Surat Tawaran' from the Penyata Kira-kira Pinjaman Pendidikan' letter? I can see a bunch of numbers here under the bar code though.

I'm asking this because I'm helping my sister to pay her PTPTN loan by using CIMB Clicks, and because she doesn't remember where she put the Surat Tawaran (this was years ago).

You need to get the offer letter from the college and comfirming that you are the student there and then go apply online.
They will check whether you really got into college or not.
If you apply online first I don think they will approve. So better don take the risk.

not sure about that.. this ptptn got their dateline, so the earlier you apply the faster you get the money but then hope you got the money to pay for your 1st sem fees first. just in case.

There's an insurance of donno how many charged one wor... So if I'm not mistaken, you'll get slightly less than the full amount, maybe you should ask the staff in charge in your college/uni.

I'll be frank...my parents combined salary is more than ....Rm7000, both are government servants, where their pay slip is issued by the government itself...should i act clever, like...puting one of my parents is unemployed?

Don't say my family can afford my IPTA fees...its a total of RM18,000++, and my family just bought our 1 and only house 2 years ago, and a new car this week...and i have 3 other siblings that are currently studying also...

I plan to apply for the next semester....

Is ptptn stringent in checking out family's earnings?

I wish that they are also stringent in checking out the family's expenses too!

So jealous of those who manage to get full loan (or even half), even when their socio-economic background is good!

is it worth to take a gamble for my future?
