Didn't hear about it, just heard that conversion only applies for 1st honor students. However, I'm not so sure about private university students who got 1st honor. I heard the rule only applies to Public Universities.

PTPTN office in KL Sentral is just in front of my office building, I went over to enquire on this because mine is 3%.
They told me it is by batch, eventually everyone will be reverted back to 1%.
Just that the extra 2% you paid earlier will be either refunded or brought forward to cover your future payment.

Sure can, because PTPTN also business, after give loan to you, you need to pay back more than you loan from PTPTN..

@s0ts0tdandeliion: Im not sure illegal or legal u asking this question. Basically, if family salaries above RM2000, then the loan will be lesser than full loan. But still depending how many siblings still under parent.
As for me, my both parent as retirees, so i dont have any payslip. I used my sister payslip, which also as my guardian since i used her payslip. I get full loan.
There are 4kind situation from ptptn,
1. full loan
2. half loan
3. 3/4 loan
4. reject

If they think u dont really need full loan they will provide u half and so on.
