GST claims can only be carried out 30 days after your purchase.

not that i'm implying (or attempting to) that the maxis bound units are no good or inferior, but if you are indeed coming to australia for an extended period of time (for example employment, studies et cetera), i recommend that you get it from here instead.

you will be delighted to learn that the warranty claim here (as a result of the existence of an apple store in australia) is a total joy and breeze.

Got myself an iphone 3gs from apple chadstone yesterday. Freaking nice phone, keep polish it and hug it at night. i will not look at my nokia n95 8gb after getting iphone. Freaking freaking cool phone...

too bad my frens cant get it from 3 bcoz his visa expired soon n currently applying for PR..
he ordered from 3 via on9 but they call him cant deliver to him...then my fren argue with them about it(about PR thingy) n i rmb i heard something from my fren tht they told him bridging visa also cannot get it..(but i duno wats bridging visa)

yeah they can pretty fussy in regards to visa unfortunately.

my passport unfortunately doesn't have the conventional visa sticker (compared to my UK one) and i had major difficulties explaining to the optus peeps of the latest move by the australian government of issuing visas electronically.

the last resort, was me, logging into the actual immigration website and showing them the electronic version on the monitor and the store manager came along to verify it.

nope. i had a printed copy as well. they claimed that it is no good unfortunately

me n other frens went optus store in qv n submit visa from email also nothing

same like bank statement..my fren got bank statement printed n with chop from CBA to apply for 3 n they said tht is not bank statement..they need written bank statement with chop n signature..but other stores allow the printed statement

nah... it is okay la.

no worries at all. just have to be patient at times. because if the optus store refuses to accept my custom, i can always patronise another optus store or network.

at least we are not those people who threatens to sue/boycott the network for whatever reasons
