This is defnitely abandoned cat. So tame and nice fur. If you want to tame male cat, better send this guy for neuter.Male neuter cat are more calm and don't get into fight anymore. More friendly also.

Jgn kerap mandikan kucing. Nanti kucing sakit. Kucing are naturally know how to clean themselves. Tak perlu kerap sgt kasih mandi. 2x sebulan pun dah ok.
bg aku aims or blackwood.. bulu kucing gugur... no need supplement to solve this problem..

5 - selalu taruk pelembab kulit untuk kucing bulu panjang or lebat.. sebab negara malaysia ni panas.. that why local cat bulu pendek.

supplement tu tuk bg kuat makan, daya tahan sakit cukup vitamin n etc.

bg free kepada orang yg betol2 jaga tak apa.. tapi yg aku kene aku free. dia jual dlm mudah.. hampeh.. aku bg free sebab kucing tu tak ngam ngan kucing aku yg lain.. tau nk gaduh jer. tp org yg aku bg free tu jual pulak dlm mudah.. adoiiii.... doh.gif

Firstly, i think all of us pet lovers would disagree with you on the matter of buying a kitten and eventually letting it go. But a cat is usually worth more as a cute little kitten (3mths) to a bigger kitten (5mths)

Also some people tend to prefer purebreeds to crossbreeds but then again some cats lineage come from 2 different breeds especially bengals.

I would suggest that you do some reading up first on having a kitten rather then having thoughts of selling it off once the 'cute' effect goes off.
*
Secondly, im not buying and then letting it go afterwards in short time. i just wanna know the worth of the cats so that i can know the value of the cat that i take care of. we never knows what will happens in future, Thirdly, if my cats would have a little kittens and its too many to handle i might to let it go so thats why i want to know the value..

you r saying to do some reading? do you read before you buy the kitten? blush.gif

im sorry if im offended anyone here, but i just want to have a kitten and its not like i dont know anything about cats everyone know how to take care of a cats just to think have u guys heard someone take care a cats n then died because of the owner? im just lack of knowledge on the breeds of the cats like what breeds is this cats, something like that..

and again you guys have that knowledge and i seek the knowledge and share together. notworthy.gif

He was 3. Peterpan is my darling. No cat can replace him. He was always there for me when I am sad. He sat with me and follow me everywhere in the house. I miss him so much.

It must be hard. How old was he.

Dear Friend,

For female cat, spaying is major operation unlike male cat. Sometimes it take several days for them to recover. The one use by Klinik Kembiri is not cheap medication but instead normal antesthic use in operation. While the one use by private clinic is using gas hence the price is more expensive. Vomitting is n the reaction from operation. One of the reason the cat need to be fast from drinking and eating by 8pm a nite before the operation.

Keep you cat in the cage for at least a week. Don't give her kibbles but soft food (canned food, boil fish or chicken) Go and buy gel gamat HEALIN. Apply it on her wound. HEALIN gel gamat only not other gel gamat. The nearest kiosk is in TESCO Ampang.

I sent ALL my cats to Klinik Kembiri. With tender loving care, my cats heal very fast. On the 3rd day, they already jumping inside the cage asked me to let them out.

hi... I brought my cat (female) to SPCA spaying program yesterday morning (saturday), honestly, mainly because it is the cheapest option... & I am really really regretful now... 1st of all the doctor wasn't serious while operating at all, chatting with his female assistants all the way, laughter everywhere... and the anesthesia used is suspected to be the very-cheap type... or the amount was too heavy, because it took 10 hours for my cat to be able to walk (not even in full consciousness), very different from what I read online (taiwanese/chinese forums)

pee 5 times, vomit twice in that 10 hours, while the anesthesia was still in effect I was able to feed her a bit of glucose + antibiotic in liquid form, with a syringe. But today, she has not willingly drunk tiny bit of water, not even once, no pee either... let alone food... she seems to be in huge fear... struggle everytime I try to feed her... I am so sad now.... I read this will last up to 3 days before she will start eating food by herself, but I was not able to feed her even a tiny bit of water/glucose.... please help.......... = ( she needs your help........... please advise sad.gif

My cats group together to open my fridge and ate all my udang for dnr last year. I scolded my husband because I though he forgot to close the fridge. When he said he never open the fridge only it occured to us that it was our cats at home that open our fridge. They observe how we open and close the door daily.

So, yeah, never underestimate cats. They seems to be harmless and innocence. biggrin.gif icon_question.gif

My mum's cat live until he was about 15 yrs old. He died naturally no sickness. This is what we call die of old age. But I do know a friend who's cat died at the age of 18.

QUOTE(Wii_hunter @ Mar 29 2011, 09:20 PM)
Hi guys, meet Keisha. She's currently 13/14 years old. i cant remember how old she really is since she has been with my family for a long time. we regard her as part of the family. We brought her when she was a small kitten in Canada when we were living there. Then coming back to Malaysia we bought her along with us. Most of the pictures were taken when we were in the car on the way back to kampung.
How long can cats live? The average is around 15 is it? or is it not?

I buried 5 of my cats within July 2009-May 2010. It was the most hearbreaking moment for me. They died due to Feline Leukemia. I still have 9 cats with me.

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Apr 7 2011, 07:56 PM)
thanks guys.... with Mok's departure.... i am no longer a cat owner sad.gif

still a cat lover...but no longer an owner.
dont know if i want to get another cat...

i buried my lovely 19 year old Raisa last June and in less than a year, i had to bury the 15 year old Mok....its a lil too much to take and a lil too heartbreaking especially since theyve been with me their entire lives and since i was young.

dont know if i could go through all that again....the rest of my family doesnt want cats anymore coz they cant go through the pain again... :'(
but if i happen to get another cat (since my wife is a cat lover too) ill be sure to report back here. see ya guys and all the best with yer kitties wave.gif
EDIT: oh yeah...one final word of advise... if ur cat is 8 years old or more, pls get regular blood tests to check for kidney failure. because u wont know until they start crashing/deteriorating. so better to be aware from the beginning.

Neuter your cat. Neuter cat more calm, won't get into a fight with other cats and most of all, they don't go roam around everywhere. Some people dislikes dogs or cats. Your cat is lucky coz she still alive. My neighbour's dog carcass was found at the longkang nearby our apartment area. We suspected someone poison him.

How long he has been like this?? Why didn't u send it to the vet immediately?? He may not survive this weekend because of the venom. If u were bitten by a snake, will u wait for weekend to come then go the hospital??

QUOTE(tunertoobe @ May 12 2011, 08:37 PM)
Hey cat owners. I need some advise.
I have a cat, male, around 3 years old. He is in a bad condition. He is losing fur from his left leg, and up towards his shoulder and then to the neck and face. Not only that the skin seems to be flaky/scabby and very rough. Now it seems that the skin is starting to bleed.

I suspect that this has to do with that snake bite he had when fighting a snake. His left leg is a bit swollen and I can see 2 puncture wounds. He seemed to recover, but I think the venom is starting to eat some of his tissue away. Can't find any info on the net to confirm this though. Poor him. Used to be a muscly fella with a handsome face.  sad.gif  Now he starts to act weirdly. Before this we can leave him in the house at night and he won't make a mess. Now he seems to pee anywhere he pleases.

Is there anything I can give or do to the cat while waiting this weekend to send it to the vet?

Hi!! There, do you have friends or family member who love cats?? If you do, you can leave your cat at home and pay your friends/family member to come twice daily to clean up the litter box and feed them and change their water bowl. My cats love their routines and hate it when I put them for boarding. There were 1 time, they bite me when we reach home after I took them from the boarding place. So I hired my neighbour's daughter who also loves cat (the family also have 2 dogs and 3 cats) to come and be my cat sitter. She came twice daily (morning and evening) to clean up the litter box, feed the cats, change the water in the water bowl and play with my cats. But she is in uni now and hardly come home except holiday. So now I have new cat sitter. She is an indonesian lady who cleaning up our apartment area. I hire her to become my cat sitter. She also very happy coz she got extra income. Now I also hire her to clean up my house once a month. She's very good with cats, all my cats love her and also very good with cleaning job.

If you have this option, maybe u should give it a try. It was nerve wrecking in the beginning. I was worried and call the cat siter 3 -4 times a day. But after sometimes the result of their work show how good this cat sitter biggrin.gif

Good luck.

Im going off for a short trip (7 days) and I need to find a pet hotel for my 2 adult cats. Preferable a cat friendly environment. Actually this will be their first time being away from home so I want to make sure their temp home will be comfortable for them.

Im staying in Putrajaya and there's a pet shop nearby my house, Klinik Haiwan Mesra at Presint 15 Diplomatic that offer a pet hotel service. Anyone have any experience before with the clinic? Hope you can share it with me your experience in terms of their services.

Im also open to any pet hotel recommendations around selangor area. Hope you can state the location, service and the pricing.

My main priority is to make sure my cats will be comfortable in their temp home. Hope you guys can give me some suggestions. Thank you. smile.gif

Maybe she got bitten by a dog?? Happen to my mum's cat once. Human being are the most cruel creature. Just look around us. Human destroy nature, killing each other, definitely not hesitate of killing poor animal. The person who beat up your cat (assuming she was beaten to death) will be punish either he/she still alive or after life.

QUOTE(DaRust @ May 26 2011, 10:42 AM)
My 12 years old cat died yesterday. My dad suspect someone might have beaten her up. Judging from her wound.

Ek Ek is good a cat. Love playing with children and never once bite or scratches anyone.

Don't understand why people would beat her to death? Sigh...

You are in pain and your cat is always there for you. You should bring him along. He is such a doll. He don't give problem. Many of my friends take their pet along when the migrate overseas. Pets are like our family member. We don't leave our family behind,do we?? I cannot imagine if this cat fall into the wrong hand. He might be abandon. I met many sweet cats roaming around because the owner neglected them. Some survive because I care for them, some died run over by car or bitten by dogs when I am not around. I saw it all. It was painful for me too coz I cannot keep anymore cats since I have 9 cats I rescued in my apartment. I feed this roaming cats and neuter them so that they won't multiply. But this cats need love and care from family they use to have once.

So please, think it over. Bring Donut with u. You can actually bring your pet even if you migrate overseas. There's a procedure and payment to be done at Jabatan Haiwan. Contact Cutiepie69 also member of this forum. She has vast experience in transfering animal to overseas or from overseas.
