Hi, does anyone know any shop around kl that sells russian blue kittens? And how much roughly?
*
Normal russian blue DLH costs between RM500 to RM750 depending on the seller.
I have a Russian Blue mummy cat who just gave birth but unfortunately her babies died cry.gif

Try visiting Miracle Pet Shop at Tesco Cheras as I saw a blue kitten for sale the other day.
The price around Rm1,600 if I am not mistaken.

Can I ask you guys a question?

Because yesterday night when I was sleeping with my cat I realize that she had this round mass / lump under her jaw. IT's at the tip of her mouth. (the chin.)

because I had a cat that died before. I'm really freaking out this time. Can anyone tell me if it's normal and I'm just over reacting or if I should see a vet?
*

I think its better to go and see the vet and get the lump checked out.
Its better to safe than sorry.

yep.. better to be safe.. i've always never hesistated to bring my furries to the vet. even if they sneeze alot  also i bring.. there was once i brought coco to the vet... eventually doc said she got high fever.. i don't even know how to know if my cat has fever or not
*
Usually when a cat is having fever the cat will have no apetite.
Also the ears and the body will be very warm.
To be most accurate you will need to get a thermometre to take its temperature.

just wanna ask, my friend that day send a wild cat to vet when she saw it laying on the road. Now the cat is back at her house. Now just to ask, she asking either it is legal to keep the cat in captivity or do she need to release back to the place where she found it?

here the pic of the wild cat after release by the vet

OMG! So beautiful the markings.
Yes, I think you will need to have a license to keep this cat as its a forest cat and considered an endangered species.
Also, its very feral and dangerous to keep.
Very hard to domesticate it as it will always have its wild instinct.
Better to treat it and once its healed to release it back into the forest.

Thanks for you guys reply. The color do look nice but the cat still wild. Even the vet doc also afraid to hold it when she was recover. But my friend told me that now the cat feed on stim chicken baked by her mum. Now a bit tame but yet still give the hiss sound. Might be going to her house to see the cat and capture using DSLR before releasing it to the wild again. But i read other forum, some ppl do keep this cat as a pet. ermmm.. that y i wondering either we can keep it. The color do fascinate me.
*
If you rear it from a kitten most probably you can still domesticate it however like Cotton Candy said it will still have its instinct to hunt. Just like Bengal F1 which cannot be domesticated but only used for breeding purposes. Only F3 are considered domesticated.

I'vw just rescued a kitten few days back. I fed it raw meat and it seems eating well. Up to today, it is still eating raw and i find the stool is a lot less smelly and the stool is dry, non stick to cat sand.  smile.gif
*
Actually there is nothing wrong in feeding your dog/cat with raw food.
Infact there is a specially formulated raw food called BARF.
You can actually make it on your own but will need to supplement with vitamins and minerals as well.
Also be careful when feeding your pets with raw food as it has a high tendency to get worms so you will need to deworm your cat on a regular basis.

Can cats eat other things like porridge? D: I was eating porridge on the couch and then she came and started eating my food. OMG. She macam like it alot dry.gif
*
Mmmm very hard to say but some human food are toxic to cats e.g. chocolate.
I even heard some cats love to eat durian but I would not dare to feed any unsual food to my cats unless I know that its safe for them to consume.

I think Aiko is pregnant... fingers crossed...
*
Gastation of cats are 62 to 65 days maximum.
IF you want to tell if Aiko is pregnant, check and see if her nipples are erect and pink in color.
If yes, then most likely she is pregnant.
Cats who are pregnant will sleep more and have an increase of appetite as well.
If Aiko is sitting down, her body will resemble a pear shape like.
Good Luck!

P/s Make sure that you feed Aiko with lots of food that is high in protein for the fetus and mami cat as well.

I feed both my furries 'Wellness-Core' dry food. I've heard alot about blackwood, problem is i can't find it in singapore!

Can anybody here teach me how to introduce my furries to eat new food? Coco eats ikan bilis but milo doesn't. Milo eats strips of crab meat but Coco doesn't! Help!
*
When introducing cat with new food you have to do it gradually so as not to upset your cats tummy.
Slowly mix the new food into the old food and slowly decrease the old food and increasing the new food.
This way your cat will not get a culture shock he..he.....

Can anyone tell me why Blackwood cat food is famous? it's just a dry food like Wiskas or Friskies from the supermarket right? or is it different?
*
Blackwood is getting famous because its premium food but at a much cheaper price smile.gif
For your information, BW is a dry food but definitely different from cat food where you can easily buy from the supermarket.
Food sold in the supermarket is the lower range type and is very low in nutrients compared to BW.
Also the salt content is very high
If your male cat does not drink much water, the cat may have a high chance of getting unirne tract problems e.g. kidney stones which can be fatal.
Friekies and Whiskas are from Thailand whereas BW is from US.
There are other types of cat food which is getting popular and is just as good as BW, RC, IAMS.
The brands are Ancana, Sportsman Pride etc.
It all depends on your pocket budget tongue.gif

Thanks!

She's definitely bigger and heavier, been about a month since she did "it" with my friend's cat, he's same type and colour as her.
She's eating lots more food, and she does sleep alot and much more manja with me.
dunno bout her nipples, she's so furry cannot see through, i tried to check but she wont let me, but i felt it that they're definitely bigger now when i carry her.

Gonna change her food to more high protein food tomorrow, i heard have to mix with kitten food also.
*
Another sign of being pregnant for a cat is being super manja so I geuss Aiko is pregnant rclxms.gif
Actually kitten food is high in protein so just find a good brand and start feeding Aiko with kitten food until the kittens stop breast feeding.

Cool, the shop out of Adult BW, I bought the Kitten BW instead, slightly expensive.
Both my kitty and her mummy seems to like it, going to be a smooth transition from my current brand.
Kitten BW can reduce poop and pee smell also right?
*
Yeah the BW supply is currenty low at the moment that is why the pet shops are out.
Lucky all my BW stocks will be arriving tomorrow thumbup.gif
Good to hear that your mummy cat and kitten loves it.
Carry on feeding it with kitten food as both mummy and kitten needs food high in protein.
For BW kitten you must not overfeed your cats if not the poo will be soft.
When you see that just reduce the amount of BW until the poo is right.

is there any way to stop this? i read in some forum about
spray and stuff, but i have no knowledge of these.

There is no spray or stuff to make your female cat keep quiet.
The only way to make your cat making all that noise is to get it spayed nod.gif

Hi Cutie Pie,
The cat which i took pic of is not for sale and i'm not the person who responsible selling in Mudah as well. The wild cat which i took pic was rescue from an accident. My friend had sent it to vet and the family had paid for the medical expenses as well. It will be release soon to the wild again soon after it regain recovery.

Here are the pic of the wild cat and it will be release to the jungle where it was found next week. It can't be domesticated as it's an adult and very fierce. Even me take a close up picture of it beauty scared as it produce fierce sound. Here are the pic of the cats in close up. It a rare opportunity but it need to be back to its habitat after it had regain full recovery.

Thank god for that.
Then you and your friend are such responsible people.
Nowadays there are so many people wanting to make a quick buck out of the poor animals without thinking of their feelings.
I am glad that the cat will be released to its natural surroundings.
I am sure that it will not be happy being a household cat.

Good for you thumbup.gif

my cat give birth n the kitty is abt 4 weeks old. is it safe to neuter the mom?
*
No its not safe to neuter the mum as she is still breast feeding the kittens.
Wait until the kittens stop weaning (usually around 3 months) only then you can neuter the mum.

how to make him befriend with franky!?
*
What a beautiful cat.
Well... all cats will hiss at each other when they first meet.
If you want to keep the cat most important please quarantine the cat first as we don't know what sort of diesease the cat has.
Then bathe the cat and deflea it.
After that bring it to the vet for a general checkup and have it vacinated.
Then bring it home and cage it and slowly introduce to Franky.
It will take quite sometime for them to get used to each other especially if both are males.

supplement brand pe ek?ok x?
how much??

nak tanya korang la, antara catseye, nutriedge, avoderm, blackwood...korang suggest mana ek?
tolak dulu royal canin, sbb yg tu mmg dh diketahui umum dah kehebatannye..
*
Ni brand Kitzyme.
Harga dalam RM0.08 sen sebiji.
Memang murah dari kedai.
Tapi dia dah repack.
Kalo nak others macam Jason suggest tu... fish oil yang kaya dalam Omega 3 and 6.
Memang bagus untuk bulu.
Ada juga Nutricoat, brester yeast.
Up to you to choose.

can anyone tell me how to potty train my kitten??
*
Very simple.
Put your kitten into a cage with a litter box.
Put some sand into the box and then tear a few stripes of newspaper and put it on top of the sand.
Your kitten will automatically do it on top of the shredded newspaper.
Slowly decrease the newspaper day by day until you get pure sand only.
Cage it at least a week by then your kitten will know what to do.
