your question is very general. What merchants do you frequent? In general Direct Access do have discount offers at Guardian, MPH (voucher RM5 for every RM90), KFC, Amarin. Their Visa you get 2% cash back at tesco. If you shop at 1U, get their One Card.

Pridential do not accept Amex. I think most insurance companies here do not accept AMEX.


When was this? As hye said CIMB only recently started charging 1%.

In 2 weeks time when I get my statements for Alliance Visa Plat, MBB Petronas Gold and Direct Access Visa Infinite (where I should get 1& rebate for overseas transactions) I will post my transactions in US last month for comparison.

Yesterday at about midnight called MBB Petronas CS, not to happy with their 24 hours service. Previously I posted quite happy with MBB Petronas Platinum CS Tol Free service but yesterday kind of pissed me off.

I have both MBB Petronas Gold and Platinum - yes both also active cards, yet to cancel the gold card until I settle this month statement.

MBB Petronas Gold CS - put on hold for quite long and it is not TOL Free so got pissed off and called MBB Petronas Platinum TOL Free CS line but nobody picked up the damn phone!
