I'm looking for a LCD monitor to hookup ps3 and pc. Working on a budget of ard 500-600.
Considering 22" or 24" depending on pricing...I also noted that many of you recommended the AOC brand but unfortunately its out of stock now.

Anyway I don't mind settling down with a monitor with DVI port as I can purchase the HDMI-DVI adapter separately for ard 30. I saw Acer and LG selling cheap at Lelong.com but none of you are talking about these 2 brands.

Guys, your best recommendation will be very much appreciated

add another 100 from 600 to get viewsonic vx2433wm. am using it, it's good. black levels are great too.

aish...my 19" Dell CRT dinosaur is blurring up. eyes teary and headache. ughh. Tomolo gotta go get an LCD...need some recommendation.

Since my rig now is 3.5 yrs old. GC oso only 7900GT. yes....it's ancient. since with this GC, all games played now are with low settings and res only at 1024x768. with this....the now 22"-24" fullhd lcd monitors can runs as low as 1024x768 res?

any recommendations?

AOC Angelo worth upgrade to what LCD eh? Feel bored with this LCD edy.

Yup, any 22-24" monitor able to run @ this resolution but the quality will drop. Strongly advice you set it to max resolution

Felt bored ? I guess you should go for 30" LCD monitor

30" still too expensive for me . Thinking of going to VK266H but i hate the design . Maybe i'll go with U2410, what do you guys think?

An IPS panel eh? Should be pretty brilliant; though the best judge of that would be your own eyes.

I decided to switch as soon after i tried hook my PC into my plasma TV liao.

*Another question, which one is better? ST2410 or U2410? Nvm, just noticed ST2410 is TN panel

It was an impromptu decision....just bought the LG W2361V from lyp. Gonna put my 19"CRT into retirement.

You mean between TN and IPS panels?

Well, TN is your basic mainstream LCD panel. Cheap to produce, excellent response times, decent enough colors and somewhat limited viewing angles.

IPS panels on the other hand is one step higher. It has brilliant color reproduction which makes it perfect for graphic designers and better wide viewing angles than a TN panel. Though I've heard that it doesn't have the best response times, I've yet to notice any ghosting from the Dell S2209WA which has an e-IPS panel.

side by side i looked at it with vk266h in czone it looks bigger than vk266h and i heard its led backlit dont if its true or not but PQ is superb i am saving for it my budget only rm 750 have to save rm 300 damn

also anyone using w2453tq from LG its rm 759 in viewnet ots almost a month now any users with reviews? only downside no hdmi
