QUOTE(farscope @ Jan 7 2010, 02:58 PM) Sorry,I din state my question clearly.I wanna use a Xigmatek 1000W to powerup HD5970 Crossfire,I think its more than enough.I go LYP last weekend, and the shopkeeper there said sure insufficient. He told me at least must buy 1500W.But I think 1000W more than enuff,so I am seeking final verdict here before I buy. |

hi there...
i got a question to ask. I'm currently using Red scorpion and obviously the fan that came with it is the orange fan with 4 pin and plugs to the mobo. they say the fan with the 4 pin has this PWM kinda thing where it changes speed according to temperature n those stuffs. so, what i would like to know is, lets say i purchase, the blue fan that was just announced here, does it come with the same pins and features. |

QUOTE(fisherman10 @ Jan 7 2010, 08:16 PM) hi there... Blue Fan which is F1256 I assume you refer to, come with 3pin. So will run full speed all the time. But won't be an issue since it is as silent as the normal PWM fan included as per mention i got a question to ask. I'm looking for those 12cm ones. It would be good if u can provide the model numbers and maybe the website so i can hav a look at the pics. |

But what is the point of setting it to lower RPM when you can get silent operation during MAX RPM = MAX cooling? This is not previous Intel stock cooler which sound like "vacuum cleaner" when turn on Are there any fans that has PWM (4 pins)? I'm looking for those 12cm ones. This is not previous Intel stock cooler which sound like "vacuum cleaner" when turn on the prob is, the fan hole in front of my case for the harddisks are fitted with small holes and the airflow is not good, causing a lot of air turbelence. I can actually hear the difference in noise at 100% and 75%.oh btw, the blue fan u mentioned just now comes with the adapter for the 4 pin molex also?
