QUOTE(farscope @ Jan 7 2010, 02:58 PM) 1000W for 1 5970? MORE THAN ENUF la.. 2 oso can.. no need 1000W.. =.= Sorry,I din state my question clearly.I wanna use a Xigmatek 1000W to powerup HD5970 Crossfire,I think its more than enough.I go LYP last weekend, and the shopkeeper there said sure insufficient. He told me at least must buy 1500W.But I think 1000W more than enuff,so I am seeking final verdict here before I buy.

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jan 7 2010, 06:40 PM) a 1000watt is more than enough to power up the extremely power hungry 8800GTX in SLI . so im sure itll be more than enough to power up ur more energy efficient HD5970 xfire n screenie from AMD's website (which is a good site to find out these kinda things btw) take note the word used is "recommended". Yeah,10q for the help. The salesperson poisoning me whole day to buy Xigmatek 1500W.At last I failed to buy my rig that day because of casing problem.Think to go there again this weekend for my new rig with 1000W Psu that can save me around RM500.
