of course no service.. bcos currently 5.12 don't have any unlock tools yet.. u need to wait for it

so what u mean is my iphone will remain no service until they release the unlock tools ? Do i still have another options ?

bcos currently latest unlock is 5.11 only.. for 5.12 u need to wait for few more month only can unlock.. don't have other options

First page has been updated with all the relevant info on the latest version of ultrasn0w (0.93) from the DevTeam.

As stated clearly, you can now unlock all the basebands up till 5.13.04 (iSO 4.0). However, jailbreaking tools for iOS 4.0 is still yet to be released, hence DO NOT update to 4.0 yet if you want to keep your unlock.

If you are currently on 3.1.3 (baseband 5.12.01) and has been waiting for ages for the unlock, you can do it NOW.

just downloaded the OS4 and feel like updating. currently i have jailbroken under 3.1.2. is it a straight forward update from itunes for the OS4?

got up this morning and was checking my bookmarks of sites and saw the latest post on the DevTeam. though OS 4.0 leaves quite a number of the new features closed to 3G, still can't wait to try it out.

Yes you can, you have to first jailbreak it. And then only unlock it using ultrasn0w.

We are eager to help, but then its impossible to post steps by steps. Its better for you to first search the steps for jailbreaking. Then unlock it using repo posted in page 1.

You can JB using snowbreeze for windows / pwnagetool for mac. Or else get sim card for activation.

1. download redsn0w (Windows) and jailbreak + hactivate.
2. proceed to unlock by following this guide

a full tutorial shall be posted up on the first page once more information is made available.
