Just browsed through flickr and searched for E-PL1..it seems like there are so many lens combinations available. Wonder if they can autofocus or not(please say cannot AF).

Some links:

tararan and DaiNgau said two different things about the AF of the lenses.

Which is correct? >< I'm assuming Daingau was not referring to all the links.

Correct..patience is the missing factor.

Anyways I only snap vacation/event pictures for personal use and satisfaction. So quantity>quality for me. But I believe that both can be achieved at the same time.

Edit: A preview from Steve Huff : http://www.stevehuffphoto.com/2010/04/04/t...-olympus-e-pl1/

I love his reviews cause it is not so technical and more on the real life usage of the camera.

Maybe when I pair it with an EVF my view on the MF will change. But that alone(along with battery saving & under bright light usage) won't justify me getting it.

A question.

Would it be better to get a relatively cheap and newer Noktor soon to be released hyper prime or to spend on legacy lenses+mounts?

EDIT: Interesting link: http://kenrockwell.com/tech/noktor/index.htm

Guess it is more worth it to get one of the legacy lenses =P
