The firmware update can be done with the standalone software. No need ib.

G2 is a more featured camera than GF1 with its build in EVF and swirl-able touch screen LCD. G10 is just a smaller bro of G2. smile.gif

If you need comparison:

I think GF1 is more of an entry level for the G series cameras. Maybe Panny gonna come out a GF2 soon to compete with Olympus haha. I do hope so !! brows.gif

The MFT format has just grown bigger....I guess, a lot more users will join the club later, due to it's compactness, but with great picture quality smile.gif

I'm hoping more manufacturers to adopt the MFT format instead of making their own mirror-less format. So users like us can have more lenses to choose from. tongue.gif

Sony's concept out also, but not sure about their lenses format ... and rumor said Canon is coming out own format too. shakehead.gif

I haven't tried or touched a E-PL1 but it looks cuter compared to GF1's pro black look. laugh.gif

Had thoughts of switching to E-PL1 but it lacks the ISO, shutter speed and back dial, and pass experience that Oly cam has AF and shutter lag. hmm.gif
