Hi all, may I know the best setup with best all around lense that can rival the Leica X1? How much would it cost?
Thanks.

How good is the battery life for GF1? Also is there any lense suggestion? I see the GF1 comes with different lense package. Can elaborate a bit on that?
Also I found this very interesting: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/readflat...thread=34656826 And do you have any recommendation of shops where I can try all these cameras? This post has been edited by faidz85: Feb 28 2010, 11:15 PM |

Hi all,
Went to Ampang park today and was quoted e-p1 twin kit lenses @ RM3.4K. Is the price OK? Went to a few other shops they recommend to take the E-P1 instead of GF1. Or should I get the Olympus body and add in 20mm panny pancake? I believe they are interchangeable right? Help me decide. This post has been edited by faidz85: Mar 7 2010, 08:31 PM |

Found this link: http://thomashawk.com/2009/11/andertho-lov...tal-camera.html
Apparently, all that is what I'm looking for in a camera. I guess I will try and look into E-P1 and the 20mm Lumix pancake lense combo. Any idea roughly the price for the combo? |

Anyone knows any shop that I can get E-P1 + the 14-42mm lense and the possibility to add another 20mm lumix pancake lense?
I asked at Sg. Wang but they have no stock for the 20mm lens. |

In fact a forumer here also got it in stock. How much is the lens cost? Last night I asked at Sg. Wang it was roughly RM1.2k.
I'm looking for a shop wehre I can get both E-P1 and the lense at once. |

He said it right after looking at his costing price. I also thought that it is cheap. But unfortunately no stock.
He also quoted RM3.2k for e-p1 twin lense kit. Is it cheap also? This post has been edited by faidz85: Mar 9 2010, 11:56 AM |

The forummer here is OK I guess, some people reading this thread recommended him.
As for the cheap lense, I actually was at the shop and asked the rough price. |

@ ae8za
Saw your name in the list and you are using the Oly 17mm pancake lense. How actually do you rate this lense? I want to see the difference of the performance compared to the 20mm lumix pancake. Hopefully the difference is large enough to justify getting the 20mm over the 17mm. |

Thanks for the explanation. Was waiting the whole day for it.
I guess I will save up the money first and grab the twin kit lens package first. And hopefully someone would want to sell their 20mm xD Anyways. I hope hellfire888, that wasn't psed in anyways. I looks phine to me =) |

Just got myself an E-PL1 as an 'upgrade' to my aging D40.
I got to say that for a somewhat cheap camera it is very good. Very practical. Just the camera that suits me. The art filters are nice especially the pinhole one. Now waiting to get a 20mm pancake from Panny. |

Bought it at RM2130 for the box set and added in filters, also a Nat. Geo bag.
Bought at Gurney Plaza Penang. @bbjslee How much and where can I get the Pana 20mm? I'm looking for that also. What package do you get for the lens? This post has been edited by faidz85: Mar 22 2010, 06:06 AM |
