The phone is definitely a lil wonky. Hopefully it's just early firmware problems. I woke up today to my whole phone "breathing", not just the light on the nav-pad but the whole keypad + lcd. I can' do anything with it as there's no display, just the lights going on and off periodically. I had to take out my battery to stop it.

Nokia better give us a stable firmware with lots of fixes soon! They didn't make use of the long delay well.

I'm calling upon all E72 users to document all issues they've had with their phone here. I'm interested specifically in the spacebar and optical trackpad dying/stopped working and also whatever issues that you've had with the phone not responding/hanging. Thanks.

Press and hold the spacebar for a few seconds and it will turn on or off.

I would suspect more of the Garmin code being incompatible with FP2? The latest update of XT was a few months ago while the E72 was released about a week ago.

Anybody tried the vulcan death grip on their E72 yet? It doesn't seem to work on mine.

(Don't do it unless you want to wipe *EVERYTHING* on your phone)
Turn off. Press simultaneously: Call Key (Green key w/ phone icon on it), 3 (or Y), # (or J) and turn phone on, keep all buttons pressed until Nokia welcome screen shows-up.

for me, a wonderful phone, garmin also doesn't give me any problem. But anyone knows how to show the accelerometer to work, i've tried with all apps with the phone but none can make use of the accelerometer function. And the other thing it he tap-for-time function. Anyone knows about it?

Try turn to snooze and turn to silence calls?

Battery life as good if not better than E71. The default browser seems competent on the E72. Opera Mobile 10 beta is very nice but the key "u" seems to be broken when using Opera Mobile 10 beta. It will display * instead.

Yo guys, was wondering if this is normal. My e72 optical navi pad feels a little loose and has a bit of play. If you tap on it gently, there is a slight wobble and it's definitely not a firm or solid feel. Is this a defect or am I just too fastidious?

It feels soft and membrane-y.

Agreed but mine seems to get more and more wobbly over time.. Now, each time I swipe that center piece it will give out a plasticky rattle.... Very cheapo feel wei.. Anyone else experiencing this?

I like the E72 more than the E71 for sure but if I have an E71 I don't know if I will get an E72 to replace it. Maybe not unless money is no issue.

Martin Fields already have a special cut for E72 but it cost RM35+
Waiting for OtterBox to come out with a casing for E72. The one for E71 is awesome but that would rule out most if not all of the leather pouches made for it out there.

No idea if OtterBox is available in Malaysia. Anyway, they don't have a case for E72 yet.

Don't keep two records of the same number in different places.
